Not too sure about that. Although K-Yze had the slammin "Stomp" track, that's all he had. KC FLightt had "Let's get jazzy"-his first and a classic, this one, and who could forget "Voices". Not many of those Hip House artists had as many bangers and classics under their belts. I say KC Flightt FTW!

Hip-Hop artist back in the days, when HOUSE music was formed, didn't want to acknowledge this type of genre. But let alone that Hip Hop was NOT recognized how it should be as well. Now at this time of age, WE all know what HOUSE music is. HIP HOP is forever as well as HOUSE music.

2 things: 1.Holy shit. I think that's actually David Byrne in the video. 2. This was a great album. I still lisnd to it during college in '93-94. It had a lot of cool jazzy sounds and like floaty chill flutes and ambient electronica elements. Waayy b4 I ever heard the term "retro-futurism" as a genre. Even the "hot" and "lovey" songs seemd 2 have some sincerity to the romance of the vocal and lyric. Videos definitely take away from music, but sonically I think this guy laid down some cool talent
