  • Is there any way to get that second core working?? I've read on the only other two SL installation pages that you can use something called VooDooTSCSync or just TSCSync and that'll enable the second core, however I have no clue how to even get to that point! Any ideas? Thanks!

As a side-note, I've got the same h/w setup as you and was getting stuck on the video driver part so you seriously helped me! Thanks!!!

  • I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 like you, but my video card is the ati x1300. What should I select in the customize panel?

  • Do you get Quartz Extreme?

  • ok cool thx

  • my wifi wont work cam you helq me i think i dont have the driver

  • @MultiTech4life If you have the same set up as me, with the Dell Wireless 1390 WiFi card, you shouldn't need any additional drivers. It will just be recognized as AirPort by Snow Leopard in 10.6.3.

  • @DoctorK4 ok ill try it one more time and do you have to do the uninstall of additional drivers useing cmd

  • @MultiTech4life If you don't uninstall those faulty video drivers, you'll never be able to see your screen.

  • @DoctorK4 o ok and can you make a video and link it to the message on how to set uq

    wifi

  • @MultiTech4life Just type in the name of your wireless network and password. Setting it up is pretty simple, really. No need for a video for that.

  • No RTC?

  • @byever1 I think it was on osx-e1505.vacau.com that I read to uncheck the RTC. Before I did I was unable to install and/or boot without Kernel Panics. Once I unchecked RTC it worked. I'm not even sure what RTC is or does.

  • @DoctorK4 I installed it just fine using this guide with RTC checked 32 bit.

  • @byever1 Cool - thanks for coming back to add that. I'm sure other folks will have questions about tweaks, so that's really good to know.
