I don't know much about islam, but does it teach HONESTY? Does it teach MORALS? Christianity does. So is there a famine of decency in IRAN giving no foundation for anyone to build a peaceful society on. Is man good by himself? It is ISLAM which is to blame here. Why? Afterthought: For anyone who's unsure, I do believe this is a just revolution (mostly because of the nuclear policy), and commend the Iranian people for their bravery. Please keep the death count as low as possible.
The most important thing to remember is that humanity is a family, and we have to respect our brothers and their wishes as far as we are capable (Which, incidentally, means any selfish pride is out, healthy pride is fine. You know how I mean.).
It is very important that the UN and its members stay out until they're asked to intervene. Unlike China (I kept thinking of Tiananmen watching this), Iran is pracically, if not actually, a theocracy. Not only that, but with a religion that is opposed to the outside more than any other in the world (that is not to say that Muslims are a bunch of world haters), and for the revolution to be truly theirs, they want to do it themselves until they're confident outside help won't be a culture threat.

It is very important that the UN and its members stay out until they're asked to intervene. Unlike China (I kept thinking of Tiananmen watching this), Iran is pracically, if not actually, a theocracy. Not only that, but with a religion that is opposed to the outside more than any other in the world (that is not to say that Muslims are a bunch of world haters), and for the revolution to be truly theirs, they want to do it themselves until they're confident outside help won't be a culture threat.
