Backroads street racing ,running hard ,is very dangerous, the kid on the bike could, like you pointed out, hit a stone and swerve into you, an innocent couple, maybe with kids breaks down and you hit them, the law sees a hot rod involved in ANY situation like this and the driver of the hot rod is gonna be in trouble. We know our muscle cars are fast, no one questions that, so why take that chance? Don't you have a drag strip closeby? Please think about it. BTW, nice looking car.

@sbc388550 DUUUUDE, racing takes 2. The same could be said about when you accelerate with your car or when you drive your car on the street. THINK ABOUT IT! If I was driving by the guy on the bike with my daily driver and he hits a rock and swerves into my lane and I'm doing the under the speed limit and I run him over.
my uncle had a 64 sport fury with a 383 that would twist the car so much it would open the glove box and slap you in the knees haha damn shame it burned when the house burned down though. Nice car man! Keep That old Mopar spirit alive!
@Mudddrider108 That's funny, I could see that happening in my Fury as well. The glove box doesn't close so well as it is...haven't gotten a chance to floor it yet though, just got it a few months ago and i'm doing some body work. @TheSanatra1 Thanks for the kind words, and for above average knowledge and respect of classic muscle, but the muscle car wars were all the American manufacturers, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Mercury, Pontiac, Plymouth, Buick, AMC, they all brought something to the plate in the late 60's
The only thing the new millenium muscle cars have today that we didn't have back in the late 60's and very early 70's was the braking system and the suspension system which in my humble opinion are "light years" or Apollo vs. Star Wars ahead of what we had back then. I know I own an 05 GTO and you can put the wows to the goes at high speeds...What a difference. I have alot of respect for the "white hat boys" as we used to call you Mopar boys some 40+ years ago.
Obviously Baseballstud5964 was a dream between his father's legs back in the late 60's. Those horsepower ratings 375 and 425 were taken at 3200 rpms. At 5 to 6000 rpms those motors were producing around 450 to 575 hp on pump gas or as we called it "pumping ethyll". Add a set of headers, tuned exhuast ,accel ignition system, and the horsepower went even higher. Burn the stock 78 /14s series tires from the showroom floor right down to the rim no blower required. Thanks for the memories Bob..
Ive always wanted an old mopar but couldnt afford one. I almost bought a 67 plymouth fury 3 fast back back in 91 and didnt. i kickmy self int the butt all the time over that deal..
I have a ford capri from 1981 with only 100 bhp, and i can make water come out of the squiters, it's just that with some older cars the openings ar much wider :P
But you accelleration is most impressive, can't argue with that :)
Who s the dick with the c-10 383,If chevy was so great why did they copy a cubic incher from mopar?((383)) No son I have a 68 dart with a real 383 mopar,Would love love to spank your chebby,on motor on spray? it does'nt matter,so get at that. Love the dodge in this video!!
My c10 383 sbc. would destroy your mopar. Motor is all forged internals 58cc aluminum AFR235cc heads. 13-1 compression. 602 hp and 645 ft lbs. On a mix of 100 and 110 octane. Get at it
@Baseballstud5964 WOW congratulations, all that in an S10, impressive, you might be able to get 15G's for it. My 625HP was done with 10.1:1 compression and on 91 pump gas, but yeah your S10 is VERY impressive. Put the engine in a Miata and it will go even faster. Yutz!
@scatpack440: Baseballstud5964 doesn't know that you have completely different classes of cars. His: P.O.S. drop-out's wet dream that he probably can't drive worth a shit because of all the mismatched/duct-taped/overtightened/stripped nuts/bolts/screws he used in the dark of night in the alley behind his urban crack-house/meth-lab, where he screwed it all together.
Yours: Built to meticulous perfection in a clean heated and organized garage in the home you earned by working your ass off. Kudos
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree!
I know this is a dumb question, but you said you have a 4 speed with a 3.54 dana on the drive train. At about what rpm's does the engine run when you're driving at 65 mph on the high way???
how is this clown calling our cars muscleshits? is he american? we can take our gas mileage 350's and for a couple hundred make way more power that pos is even capable of. . and waste it while driving it to work every day. 244 stock hp. crank. pos . it will take you 10 grand to make 500. and it will break to pieces quick. ive seen it many times. ive seen a hundred times people take stock high mileage v8's and for a grand make relialable 400 plus horse. that wont scatter everywhere. like ricers
But with no matter how much money you throw into an piece of shit Evo, it's still a worthless piece of shit evo that you couldn't sell in 5 years for 5 grand. To get your "evo" to run like this one you will spend everything you make and it's still worthless. Egotistical a-holes like you are the reason I built this up, it still has 625hp if a NOS bottle is empty. Lets see what your wonderful Evo will be worth in 30 years and if it still will be running?
Buddy trust me i love my car and not considering selling it while im still alive on this planet dunno why your talking about sellin in a couple of years. And while spending all that money on upgrading my car you just sit there and keep repairing that motor with every shot of nos you do. Also please dont forget.. DO NOT TURN THE CAR IF YOUR GOING ABOVE 40MPH. Usually comes in a warning with all American Mustleshits.
@garmool Trust me, you won't have it in 3 years as it will fall apart. Bottles are for babies. ALL THROTTLE NO BOTTLE dickweasel. By the time I get to a corner and need to turn I will be so far ahead of your POS I could PUSH my car around the corner. HEH Ricers, they will NEVER learn that's why muscle cars are needed, TO EDUCATE THE IGNORANT. Keep ricing my friend, keep ricing. Watch pout when you come to a corner, brakes might fail, ask Toyota and Honda...which rice is next?
Scatpack 440 -- give -em -Hell I had Enconter with a ricer - recently heading home up I -16 - in Georgia and Ricer Thought it woul be cute to pick-on my 300 - D chrysler (hemi) 1957 - at 130 - all i saw in rear view was a ball of fire under ricers car - he blew up trying to pick on a old orginal hemi -- and i still had not hit full throttle --- well one ricer down - Guess back to junk yard to find another ricer --replacement (lol) -- great car you have -- !!!
@54blueflamesix Haha, i look up to that right there. I have an 86 TA while not original muscle it still eats BMWs,audis, and the rice cookers that sound like leaf blowers going by. I smoke them in the street races. This country should get it's ass out of the gutter. Muscle era is coming back. Thanks to Dodge,Chevrolet, and Ford. Fuck them Jap/Euro shit cars. There's a reason why Henry Ford was the first person to create the car and assembly Line.America FTW
1 it would not kill it and 2 you junk evo isnt capable of the power this makes stock. and if it does it wont last long. and 2 that evo isnt worth the drivers door of this beauty
The funny thing is about an "EVO" won't even make good scrap metal in 20 years and the mopar can go for $100,000's of dollars fully restored!! Your evo would kill that mopar??? Well no shit!!! AWL drive, lighter, and boosted! Equal the playing field and you would get your ass handed to you!!! And you know it!!!
@iedhunter05 Its not in the scrap anymore its in the technology and aluminum parts.. I have seen and evo vs a well modified mopar and also a built nova at LACR back in the day and it was close! For a straight shot race they both did amazing. Evo's are heavy too, depending on year. But not as heavy as any Dodge. Probably similar weight too a 62-64 nova if you get an newer evo.
For some reason I can't see my posts show up on the other clip.
Who did the heads? Performer RPM intake, or????
Compression/Pump Gas?
That's some decent sized primary tubes?
Very impressive. I love both how stock the car looked from the outside, and then who hard it pulled. As well, impressive that it pulled the 3.54's no problem, with that duration.
don't you ever sell that car, only ever sell it if your kid is a wigger ... then sell it to someone who'll love it ... I saw a dumbass kid my age selling an 81 El Camino his dad gave him, his dad bought it new, we wanted to sell it or trade it for a 95 civic with some "nice rims".........
This car was traded for my 63 I now own. Hemi polwer and REALLY different styling. It's a body style I always wanted and now have. This car was a best, new owner has put it all back to stock. To see what I traded for chek out my other videos.
whats wrong with fords ? i love all american cars especially mopar but its ignarent to say fuck fords cause with out ford thered be no mopars, people gotta learn that ford chevy mopar guys need to stick together we got a bigger problem in the world and there from europe and japan
amen to that man, I'll give and take on chevys and fords, give pontiac a little puttin around but Mopar still dominates man, Fords got some power Chevy's got the majority rule, pontiacs where the ram airs at but Mopar ...... well lets just say That super bee picks Mustangs and Camaros outta its grill on a daily basis and I DRIVE a Camaro!
exactly there wasent many cars that could hang with a 440 or a hemi, back in the day, mopars are still the baddest cars out there, and most of them dont even have floors haha. Massivly Over Powered And Respected
I've ridden in one of these. Thanks for the memory of being pushed back into my seat. Now, if you can get the the wipers to operate when the fluid comes out.
My flukey Camaro wipers do operate under hard acceleration??? (wtf)
By the way, Al Gore lives in a gigantic home and uses megawatts of electricity every month. He is a hypochrite!
if it was standard when you buy, it should stay standard. it took a texan to show me the eror of my ways [still not a red coat though and its not crumpets and tea, more like beer and curry]
Man i love muscle cars. I've never driven one but i've been in the passenger seats and its jsut so amazing, my dads friend has 2 identical plymouth road runners one modded and one not. They both have so much power. It accelerates so fast. Words cant explain it. I am really at a loss of words right now. It is like the car has no restrictions and just gets faster and faster..forever. Thats the best i can do.
i believe that a true fan of these old mopars like to keep them stock and factory original because of the respect that they have for these cars my opinion
You'll like my videos of motorcycles I bet.. We have a party every year and I just posted a slide slow, lots more to come .. My uncles always had cars like that when I was kid. Haven't seen or been in one since the 70's....
@Trendyrapslut i agree, whats the point of going back to stock, stock just means a comprimise, once upgraded i say always upgraded. downgrading / downtuning is crap simple
@timthemagicbus666 wheres judge steel flex got to, id like to thank him for showing me the strength of feeling to do with american muscle cars. but in england no such considerations occur because if you keep a european car as stock, it wont be as good as what you can make it. i ought to get a red coat, it might go with the bonfire uniform.
Damn just have to love old school muscle. I have become an import tuner because that is what people call for but I still have a 69 SS Camaro in my garage with a blown 572 under the hood. Just can't beat old school. GREAT CAR MAN!!!
i remember my best friend jeff larrabee's father buying a 69 A12 superbee in 1981 from a dodge dealer in pomona ca.
his wife wanted a family car and ol' bill came roaring down the street in this orange dodge!!..boy was she pissed!!
we found out later the car was built by landy himself!, i remember the car has 4-88. it got 3 miles to the gallon. it had dick landy stickers in the glove box. do you know anything about this car?
thanks!!... that is the way to show us how a muscle car moves. soooo many guys film from the outside and you cannot get the feeling. good job!
i thought my 68 gt 390 mustang shot of the line good. but good god, its good your car wasnt chasing mcqueen around san fransico, the chase would never happen. you would always be right on his 6!!!
I think it was the other way around, good thing McQueen wasn't trying to catch my car, the chase would have never happened, lol. Thanks for the comment, she pulled hard.
Yep, My 70 Super Bee did the same thing - it was awesome! My friends 68 383 Super Bee did the same thing slamming 2nd gear too.

MIketucky350 2 years ago
The funny thing is about an "EVO" won't even make good scrap metal in 20 years and the mopar can go for $100,000's of dollars fully restored!! Your evo would kill that mopar??? Well no shit!!! AWL drive, lighter, and boosted! Equal the playing field and you would get your ass handed to you!!! And you know it!!!
iedhunter05 2 years ago 4
@iedhunter05 Its not in the scrap anymore its in the technology and aluminum parts.. I have seen and evo vs a well modified mopar and also a built nova at LACR back in the day and it was close! For a straight shot race they both did amazing. Evo's are heavy too, depending on year. But not as heavy as any Dodge. Probably similar weight too a 62-64 nova if you get an newer evo.

I would very much like to take a ride in your mopar sir.

Though I own a 71 Superbee .. I've seen stock Darts, Demons, Dusters, and A body Cudas kick butt while packing a 340.
Those "A "bodied Mopars know how to pick'em up and put'em down. :o)

Any details on the drivetrain, / engine????

440 six pack, (.030 over) 625hp , 4 speed, 3.54 Dana
scatpack440 2 years ago
For some reason I can't see my posts show up on the other clip.
Who did the heads? Performer RPM intake, or????
Compression/Pump Gas?
That's some decent sized primary tubes?
Very impressive. I love both how stock the car looked from the outside, and then who hard it pulled. As well, impressive that it pulled the 3.54's no problem, with that duration.
Thanks for the details, really appreciate it.

mopars are fucking crazy!

don't you ever sell that car, only ever sell it if your kid is a wigger ... then sell it to someone who'll love it ... I saw a dumbass kid my age selling an 81 El Camino his dad gave him, his dad bought it new, we wanted to sell it or trade it for a 95 civic with some "nice rims".........
ITS4390 2 years ago
This car was traded for my 63 I now own. Hemi polwer and REALLY different styling. It's a body style I always wanted and now have. This car was a best, new owner has put it all back to stock. To see what I traded for chek out my other videos.

DIMEBAGJIMMY426 2 years ago
amen to that man, I'll give and take on chevys and fords, give pontiac a little puttin around but Mopar still dominates man, Fords got some power Chevy's got the majority rule, pontiacs where the ram airs at but Mopar ...... well lets just say That super bee picks Mustangs and Camaros outta its grill on a daily basis and I DRIVE a Camaro!
ITS4390 2 years ago
exactly there wasent many cars that could hang with a 440 or a hemi, back in the day, mopars are still the baddest cars out there, and most of them dont even have floors haha.

He is a hypochrite!
noclouds111 2 years ago 2
oh ya my car accelerates so hard it pulls the gas right out of the tank.
bigdaddy0228 2 years ago
if it was standard when you buy, it should stay standard. it took a texan to show me the eror of my ways [still not a red coat though and its not crumpets and tea, more like beer and curry]

i hope those are bio degradable tires and the car is burning recycled animal jizz

"back to stock", is good. This is a rare mopar muscle car. "Back to stock" is more valuable. And you realize just how it came from the factory.
rmrooster01 2 years ago
Man i love muscle cars. I've never driven one but i've been in the passenger seats and its jsut so amazing, my dads friend has 2 identical plymouth road runners one modded and one not. They both have so much power. It accelerates so fast. Words cant explain it. I am really at a loss of words right now. It is like the car has no restrictions and just gets faster and faster..forever. Thats the best i can do.
PlayDohz06 2 years ago 3
i believe that a true fan of these old mopars like to keep them stock and factory original because of the respect that they have for these cars my opinion

who wouldnt belive you over 340 hp and 400 ib ft. daaaaaaaaaaaaamn
dddjjf 2 years ago
all back to stock? what the hell is the point of that?
"here let me downgrade so it retains the originality that was already lost for a better ride."
he's probably going to sell it now. that's so lame.
Trendyrapslut 2 years ago
@Trendyrapslut i agree, whats the point of going back to stock, stock just means a comprimise, once upgraded i say always upgraded. downgrading / downtuning is crap simple
timthemagicbus666 2 years ago
@scatpack440 that sucks stock is a comprimise, thats why in england we get a car and do stuff to it, standard just sucks
timthemagicbus666 2 years ago
@timthemagicbus666 wheres judge steel flex got to, id like to thank him for showing me the strength of feeling to do with american muscle cars. but in england no such considerations occur because if you keep a european car as stock, it wont be as good as what you can make it. i ought to get a red coat, it might go with the bonfire uniform.
timthemagicbus666 2 years ago
THIS we LIKE! :D
