I can't believe there was such controversy surrounding this video. First of all, this was made to be an exclusively in-house video. The sole use of this video was intended to be absolutely private. Secondly, nothing in it was actually offensive to anyone, just inappropriate viewing material for young kids perhaps. If the city of San Francisco was offended, maybe they should look at themselves first. Any shots taken at them stemmed from actual policies taken by the city. To conclude, who cares?
Well, there's no denying that this is not Vince Lombardi's NFL anymore. But I don't mind too much. It's professional football, not golf or baseball, or some other sport where people are terribly concerned with the "sanctity of the game." But unprofessional or not, I go back to my original point: as far as private, in-house video goes, I don't have a problem with what any particular organization does. And I applaud their sense of humor.
Oh... I've got it. "Humour." I apologize. I didn't realize who I was responding to. Perhaps the humor (or humour) isn't too wonderful depending on where one is from. But such a judgment is subjective, no matter where you hail from.
But seeing as how you're the one that complained originally about the lack of professionalism, I'd like to point out your sub-par grammar. I mean, really... talk about unprofessional.
you spelt it right your way. i spelt it right my way, because you're obviously american. also you can't find any definitions of the word humor in the oxford dictionary, but you certainly can find definitions of humour. so i don't think my mix of correct grammar and street jargon has anything wrong with it.
I wasn't trying to imply you spelt the word wrong. I was merely observing, by way of your spelling, that you were from across the pond, and as such might have a different sense of humour than we unrefined yanks. As for the grammar... it was the lack of capitals. That was all. I know it was a reach. Hahaha. No hard feelings.
