This has Swedish pop written all over it. If they aren't Scandinavian they must be a British group since they certainly aren't North American (never heard of them and isn't any kind of American pop).

the reason for the 'swedish look' they are resembling abba, which is why they were formed hence I Know Him So Well and Lay All Your... ABBA did these songs and Steps covered them

Steps has also covered a BeeGee's song and a Diana Ross song... So I doubt they were created for doing ABBA songs... Especially since we had Abba-Teens aka A-Teens for that....
