Take a good look at this for starters. They have found a way to start low jacking peps seance they couldn't do it straight foward. ( GPS and Onstar ) Yep cool toys lets get one! Some people never stop to thank what else can they use this for. If someone knows somthing bad they are going to do and they don't want it in the open guess what. Do they have a GPS or Onstar in there car? They do, ok lets find them with that and then charge them with this so we can lock them up.

I think it takes leadership to tackle problems like the environment... if the government won't do it then who will? I don't think bigger government goes hand-in-hand with restricting freedom... but they are close - i agree - and Obama is going to have to be careful with how much he grows government. I think that America has proven that it needs more government - just look at the mess we're in.

"Republican" doesn't necessarily mean social or fiscal conservative. It's just a party; it's ideology changes over time, and is given to differing interpretations.
In King's era, the GOP was still considered the anti-slavery party.

What does it matter anyway? King plagiarized 40% of his undergraduate work and 60% of his graduate work. In fact part of the "i have a dream speech" was lifted from another work in the early 50's. Pretty easy to find out if you go research it :P

He sure talks a good game, but remember he's a salesman - he's selling himself. They all do. And look at who most of the people in his video are - Republicans.
This could be the Republicans positioning someone in an alternative party in the hopes of still having their neo-conservative values inflicted upon America...telling people who can and can't get legally married. A neocon was originally used to describe lift-wing politicians who switched political alignment, but more largely represents the all politicians who were turned off by the cultural trends of the time. These people are mainly baby boomers. They dont advocate large government, so I am not sure where you got that from.

Instead they support limits on government, free-market economy, and low taxation. However, they do support things such as strong defense spending and major roles in internal affairs that differ from classic liberalism, which is the political ideology behind republicans and libertarians.
