Wrestling is the most traditional sport in Iran, some say it was even started there.

The rules are simple. No harming of the rival. The wrestlers were nicknamed "heroes" because of their manners, humbleness, fairness and generosity. At the end of a match rivals would shake hands.

There's a reason Iran wins so many wrestling championships.

The Sheik was so good at Kayfabe, that you never really knew if he was crazy or not. He played the part to a tee; something that today's wrestlers are sorely lacking.

One of the greatest heels of all time. He was wrestling here in the Detroit area. Kayfabe at its best. Detroit never recovered after his promotion left Detroit. If only he hadn't gotten rid of the Big Time Wrestling shows he put on for years. This is incredible camera work. The man had true character presence. Once he entered an arena, he had you.
