I tried turning nvidia physx on with my ati radeon 5670 card and the game ran at 4fps. Thanks nvidia for convincing EA to make certain graphics features exclusive to one brand. (without an nvidia card the physx engine runs completely in software mode with no acceleration)

I'm an AMD fan(cpu Phenom X6 and soon a 990FX board), but when it comes to GPU I always go nVidia(a matter of taste), I love both companies, they are great, but I see that AMD behaves like a child when it comes to physx, nVidia offered them the opportunity to use it on ATI video cards and they refused, cpu physics really suck, but some idiots still argue about nVidia being "evil"

AMD and nVidia should join forces to destroy intel and their stupid integrated video crap, I'm longing for that day.

@faustolg Okay, I am not really into this subject but what's wrong in making computers accessible? Some computers were not meant to play games, and I never had any issue with integrated cards. Normally, the alternative to integrated makes the computer cost more without any real benefit (rubbish cards, can play games but obviously weak at it anway) and waste more power. Battery life is important on laptops.

If people want to play, they should get a store to build it for them. Not off the shelves

The PS3 and Xbox 360 could never run something that looks this good. They only have 256 MB's of memory for graphics processing, and these kinds of graphics would cause a console to crash. Consoles just suck, PC's have always been better, and always will be.

It depends on the software you use and the compression quality you choose. The quality will get worse, that is unavoidable, but with the right software and settings you can make the difference less notable. For example the logo at the beginning of my video was originally red, as you can see the with compression it lost some of the color.

PhysX is a physics engine for a game, it makes the game have very realistic physics for most surfaces.

They wont make plastic and stuff MORE realistic. You just play with or without the plastic things, so if you turn physX off the plastic things (and stuff) will disappear from the map. Only on PC.

I'm not sure if ATI cards do PhysX. I'm sure there's a way to get it to work with an ATI card though. If you could get PhysX to work then your performance should be fine at most resolutions.

I just learned that ATI doesnt have PhysX support. I think that is absolutley rediculous having wasted my money on a top end gaming/entertainment laptop and then find out (because I doesnt have an nVidia GPU) I miss out on enabling Physix. That is so unfair. I wasted my money........
