This could really annoy opponents, since it has good reach. And it is a useful substitute while you're still trying to master the much harder "Dragonic Reverse".
If you tilt the Control Stick backward when you throw, the angle of the throw will be more vertical.
The length you hold the button and the direction you move the stick make all sorts of combinations. If you can master them all, your range of attack will be really huge! - smash dojo
Also, this AT is very flexible, with the directions and sliding backwards/forwards/ combinations and such, it could make very good mindgames as your opponent may not be able to react fast enough to predict where you'll go, and you can easily surprise them.
I can't really decide whether I should count this as 1 AT or like 6 :D. It could work as 6 (or however many things there were). Wow Yoshi has so many ATs. Hopefully he'll get a lot better in the future :D.
Definitely useful. (well all ATs are to an extent). And no you were the first to have posted this. It counts as a discovery :) I was actually wondering if you could substitute the Nair (or aerial move) in the DR with a B move and get a different result. Thanks for posting this :) saves me a lot of time.
Why doesn't Yoshi have a survive jump? (Up and B)

does anyone knows how to use the giant egg throw?

Ah, I've been using this before, but I didn't know about variation 2 and 3.
3 sounds like it can be a good mindgame, actually.
