My co-workers and I found a bunch of insane newly published document collection! Take a look, it is going to astonish you! Simply proceed to ufosecretXnet (replace X with . )
I loved this show as a kid (about 10 I think) When I was 16 I met up and made friends with Jeremy Gordeno. And his father was Peter. I had no idea until I met his father, that he was the actor who played cpt Carlin. The original cpt and pilot of Sky 1. How cool was that! Sleep overs at cpt Carlin's house! RIP Peter (2008), you were a lovely guy and a loving father.
Gabriel Drake was gorgeous wasn't she...I only found out recently that her brother was Nick Drake the famous musician and songwriter that committed suicide around the same time the series was on
Considering that the series was set in 1980 10 years into their future(1970) , and that 10 years previous, 1960 they could barely get a man into orbit, the extrapolation was not that extreme.
I always loved the gimmick where the lettering on the "SKY 1" and "DIVER" sections spelled out "SKYDIVER" when the two craft were joined. Of course, we only saw the left side. It wouldn't work on the right side -- unless it was in Hebrew!
You guys said it! The UFO series still looks fresh as ever today, despite advances in technology. Wouldn't it be sweet if a new UFO movie were made. . .
Yes I have both box sets 1 & 2. Bought them off ebay. Came from the U.S. Digitally re-mastered. "A&E". Very pleased with DVD's with great graphic's & packaging.

Skydiver was the coolest fighter ever, next to the Moonbase Interceptors.

I've always seen them launch skydiver but never seen it dock. My lost childhood.(sigh)

Yup, this series is available on DVD in two sets - the 1st season and 2nd season, from Carlton TV Productions, if I'm not wrong.

@eklektro68 There are two sets, but they're Vols 1-4 and 5-8 of season 1 as there was only ever one season made (unfortunately)

How did he slide down all the way to the cockpit? He would have a hard time getting there if the sub was tilted.
