You should really take this video off of youtube. lol. There are way to many people moving here. no kidding - we don't need people to see how great Asheville is - They will move here! And by the way I saw someone say that they wanted to move out of Florida to some place like here - please stay in Florida! Lots of us in Asheville hate it when Floridians and Yankees show up. just telling yall' the truth.
If Buncombe County Government is so great then why are they keeping peg monies meant for URTV & thus making URTV public access TV shut down in September - pure government greed is why - I urge all local citizens to come to the public hearing on June 15th at 4:30pm at #30 Valley St. in downtown Asheville

I agree, theres something peacfull about the fall and the colors are fantastic, i live near ashville and it really is a beautifull place, ashville is a must see for anyone and so is all of western nc!

IT SUCKS- but only out of envy,I'm a prisoner S.Florida, just waiting to get rid of this townhouse and lifestyle for something more resembling yours - thanks for posting
I am traveling to Nashville on 23rd Oct. for a week of touring and absorbing as much color as possible. Driving to Atlanta via Pidgeon Forge, Franklin, then back to Nash. any suggestions on route deviations?
WNC can't get any better! Beautiful music and footage. Thanks. There's more on this area on You Tube....see Brevard NC and Great Destinations. Again nice job!
Fall is a stunner of a season! I just returned today from Asheville, after visiting my daughter and her family there. Not a lot of color right now (Sept. 29), but Asheville has charm all its own any time of year ~ Hope to get up there again before Christmas. Just a six-hour drive and definitely worth it. JM
I thought fall of 2007 was stunning! The quaint bridges and the colors that surrounded them made me feel as though I was a world away from it all. Thank you for sharing the beauty and excitement of the best time of the year with all of us.
i am so mad... the leaves have not been pretty since 2006... the stupid drought is making everything ugly... when you walk in our grass you get black crap on your shoes cause it's dead, and the only thing you can do is pray for it to rain...
yeah really nice place that ha no industry. what little is here does not pay. things change politcally around tourist time locals have no rights. yuppies from all over driving the price of land up from $1700 an acre to I don't even whant to think about prices. People from here cannot afford to live here in many cases unless they inhereit it Chances are they would lose it due to democratcially instituted inheritance tax whic is double taxation. noobies stay out of asheville.
Prices of land are going up every were, except Hickory area, if you want cheap thats it, also less of a murder problem so say some of my relocated friends.
And Asheville was going to have problems from the day Biltmore was built, he picked it for a reason.
I live in Chattanooga and while it's pretty around here, Asheville is gourgeous. Speaking of beauty, Stephanie Morgan's voice is beautiful (of the Asheville band Stephanie's ID). A superb indie pop band with a funky twist that just makes you melt. I'd like to see them play in Asheville sometime
Asheville is the most wonderful and beautiful city in the United States and most of the world for that matter. The people are great there. I lived in Asheville area for 20 years and miss it. Asheville and the NC mountains are truly great!
I hated fall as a child. First days of school were always horrible. Everything feels cold for the first time in a while.
But now, I'm growing to love it. I love how the leaves change color in mid October. and I love the sight of snow. I love chilly weather, because it allows you to wear nice, snuggly close.
I adore North Carolina. I've done alot of reading online on how wonderder Asheville is. I want to live there so much. We may move there next year, my husband and I. Thank you for this beautiful video that gives me a taste of the home that is calling my heart. Blessings...
I was born, raised, and live in Asheville, NC! I love everything about Fall and Winter throughout every month of the seasons, and still want more cold weather with March/April comes... I know, I'm weird. The most beautiful place on Earth in fall and winter, in my opinion.
Another thing I love about autumn are long, long evenings - especially when the sky bursts in all sorts of colours and patterns just before the darkness falls. Aaaaah :>
thx for posting; always loved NC, now can visit your channel! i live in 'sinus valley' (posting my garden vid momentarily; city living, it is...yu lucky gal)
That would be great, It depends on which part of australia your coming to as the weather greatly changes. I've just moved to queensland which it it's really nice and warm unlike Melbourne where i came from! So if your a fan of the heat, i say come to Queensland-but be prepared your wearing t-shirts everyday no jackets or anything unless it's right in the middle of winter you may wear a jacket.LOL
Teriffic video-- gorgeous and wonderful and sumptuous and paced just right.
Tom's favourite days are overcast autumn days that aren't too cold-- after all, we're Michiganders: we have enough cold in the winter to last us the whole year. :-)
Mary likes the sun most of all, no matter the season (bright, crisp winter sun is nice): she's a beautiful flower and needs the light.
Thank you for the post! Tom, you got to get outside more! I use to love those overcast days in Oregon, but got pretty tired of it after 5 years. Have to have sun!!!!
Right on fall! I think humans need things to look forward to the seasons give us things to look forward to. Fall, leaves sweaters, fire, food. Winter, iceskating, skiing, long baths, sliding. Spring, eruption, new plants in a garden, animal babies. Summer, garden greens, 1/2 nakedness, warm nights, camping.
I feel the same way! I love all the fun things associated with each season, even winter. But winter isn't quite so much fun since I gave up skiing. Thanks for the commment!

I visited that part of NC in Nov 1988 and I just fell in love with it. Also one of my favorite movies is "Last of the Mohicans" filmed in NC.
Love your video and the beautiful colors. It takes me back. The music is great also.
Check out my photos of the fall colors in Missouri.
Thanks,
