First off, i would never wheelie, stoppie, thats for pro riders. I ride to enjoy the liberty of not being confined in a car, the way the air starts rushing through. Take an MSF class if others that wipe, ruins YOUR insurance rates. I did and my insurance rate went down. DONT BLAME OTHERS DUE TO YOUR INSURANCE RATES. Bikes are dangerous period.

@tvguides If you have a Hayabusa you don't need insurance, license, registration or a title. Once in a while a cop might want some and then you just gotta give it 2 him.

even if the bike can reach 160 kmh in 1st gear, you should always stay in 3rd or 4th gear even if you're riding an R1 in 50 kmh , because if you stay in first gear, the engine of the bike will get hotter and hotter and the bike will die in 1 day.
another possibility: you can keep the bike in 1st gear untill you reach the rev limiter and then shift up but ONLY if you wanna risk your live and ride fast

I own a bike, and i ride. I was making fun of you with heavy sarcasm, because what your saying is common knowledge if you ride a bike hard it breaks sooner... well duh. If you run a bike at high RPMs it accelerates faster but also heats up faster... duh. The viscosity of motorcycle lubricants works well at high temperatures actually and is designed that way, so riding high wont do much damage, sitting on the rev limiter however... will.
Knucklehead should have known the distance he was trying to show off in. Goosing a bike like that covers a lot of ground quickley AND about 2-3X as much ground is covered when bring up the front wheel in that fashion. It was definitley a mistake paid for as andyashe15 had mentioned.
he broke his hand n had rasberrys all over his shoulders n hands n leg, but didnt need medical assistance or at least didnt request any for the next 48hrs, the bike was just about still able to be rode, but clearly that is a danger in itself as was not looking too safe, all the plastic n decals broke off on one side so as i recall he said it would cost couple of grand to fix, but he was a tower hand so not short of a few pounds/dollars.
errrrm because the bike was %&cked thats what i mean, handle bars twisted, no indicator, front brake lever snapped so only 2inches long! the bike flipped n rolled not slid, as it hit the kerb to the footpath running along each apartment door it spun over n almost went through a couples window n into their room! i spun the camera away briefly so y'all didnt see it as i thought i was filming a more serious accident! hope that explains a bit better. ?
I had a 100, then a Guzzi 500, then bought an FZR1000. Crashed it twice within a month. It was ALWAYS too fast to be useful and too heavy to be any good in town. Only reason I didnt get rid was because the 2nd crash dented the frame so it was unsellable. I wish Id never bought it.
I still have a litrebike but its a Guzzi so it aint so fast :D
oops sorry to who ever it was i just removed by accident- i had just been admiring it taking a picture and then he goes and decides to show off infront of his filming boss (ME) not that i asked him too, he was a normal dry morning and i guess after failing to lift it the 1st attempt he went for an instant 2nd attempt but ran out of space and broke too hard and dropped it! a broken hand and a few raspberrys was the outcome plus a how the hell do i get the bike home which was a 6 hour ride away.

First off, i would never wheelie, stoppie, thats for pro riders. I ride to enjoy the liberty of not being confined in a car, the way the air starts rushing through. Take an MSF class if others that wipe, ruins YOUR insurance rates. I did and my insurance rate went down. DONT BLAME OTHERS DUE TO YOUR INSURANCE RATES. Bikes are dangerous period.

@tvguides it's not. I'm 28 with 8 points on my record. I have a K9 Busa and my full coverage only costs $40.18 per month! I live in a small town. My insurance agent had never heard of a Busa! haha

i'm gonna tell you something you dont know:
even if the bike can reach 160 kmh in 1st gear, you should always stay in 3rd or 4th gear even if you're riding an R1 in 50 kmh , because if you stay in first gear, the engine of the bike will get hotter and hotter and the bike will die in 1 day.
another possibility: you can keep the bike in 1st gear untill you reach the rev limiter and then shift up but ONLY if you wanna risk your live and ride fast

I own a bike, and i ride. I was making fun of you with heavy sarcasm, because what your saying is common knowledge if you ride a bike hard it breaks sooner... well duh. If you run a bike at high RPMs it accelerates faster but also heats up faster... duh. The viscosity of motorcycle lubricants works well at high temperatures actually and is designed that way, so riding high wont do much damage, sitting on the rev limiter however... will.

Knucklehead should have known the distance he was trying to show off in. Goosing a bike like that covers a lot of ground quickley AND about 2-3X as much ground is covered when bring up the front wheel in that fashion. It was definitley a mistake paid for as andyashe15 had mentioned.

he broke his hand n had rasberrys all over his shoulders n hands n leg, but didnt need medical assistance or at least didnt request any for the next 48hrs, the bike was just about still able to be rode, but clearly that is a danger in itself as was not looking too safe, all the plastic n decals broke off on one side so as i recall he said it would cost couple of grand to fix, but he was a tower hand so not short of a few pounds/dollars.

errrrm because the bike was %&cked thats what i mean, handle bars twisted, no indicator, front brake lever snapped so only 2inches long! the bike flipped n rolled not slid, as it hit the kerb to the footpath running along each apartment door it spun over n almost went through a couples window n into their room! i spun the camera away briefly so y'all didnt see it as i thought i was filming a more serious accident! hope that explains a bit better. ?

I'm a litrebiker and...I agree with you.
I had a 100, then a Guzzi 500, then bought an FZR1000. Crashed it twice within a month. It was ALWAYS too fast to be useful and too heavy to be any good in town. Only reason I didnt get rid was because the 2nd crash dented the frame so it was unsellable. I wish Id never bought it.
I still have a litrebike but its a Guzzi so it aint so fast :D

oops sorry to who ever it was i just removed by accident- i had just been admiring it taking a picture and then he goes and decides to show off infront of his filming boss (ME) not that i asked him too, he was a normal dry morning and i guess after failing to lift it the 1st attempt he went for an instant 2nd attempt but ran out of space and broke too hard and dropped it! a broken hand and a few raspberrys was the outcome plus a how the hell do i get the bike home which was a 6 hour ride away.
