  • This thing is slipped when i was using it and i busted my nose..

  • @1john1992 Sorry this happened, I have sued this for several years, with no issues. Would you mind clarifying how this happened? Did something break?

  • @extremelyfit This only happened once so far, just got it yesterday. But when i use it it makes creaking noises, and kinda rattles when u hold it up and shake it.

  • @1john1992 You'll want to tighten down the nuts all the way to the chin up bar. The nuts look like they have a cap on the end, but the bolts will actually ratchet right past the end, all the way to the frame. This will tighten it up nicely. Let me know how it works out!

  • this is an awesome device

  • Do you know of a Door frame mount Bar that can fit a door opening framed in a 2x6 wall. With Gypsum and Trim the thickness of the wall is more near 7 1/2" ,as opposed to the 2x4 wall that is about 5 1/2" Thick.

  • This might be a dumb question but where can i get one ASAP?? i bought a P90X and forget to get one. is it possible to get one at Walmart? thats where i got my P90X..please help!! i dont wanna have to wait a while to start up again

  • @1amRy4n Order from or site. extremely-fit(dot)com

  • @1amRy4n Yeah, you can buy a pull up bar at Walmart, but it's not as nice as the one in the video.

  • ...iam not aloud to get this because my parents think that it will kill our doorway ..us that true please someone respond

  • Why is that dude using a chain 0:03 right hand side.

  • @somthingiwontforget It's actually a resistance band. They are showing an example for those that don't have a chin up bar. I prefer chin ups personally, but it's an option.

  • way better than iron gym

  • Are chin up's any good for building forearms?? I have large shoulders and biceps but my forearms are weedy!!

  • @superdooperroofer I'm sure it would help in the overall workout plan, but would think there are some dumbbell exercises that would help too.

  • @extremelyfit yeah my doorframes are ok. 32" door. where can i get one in Rep. of Ireland

  • @superdooperroofer I wish I could get you one to Ireland. I wouldn't even mind visiting Ireland! I'm sorry, I can't ship there though. Beachbody doesn't ship there either. Very sorry....

  • I wish there was a back, arm and shoulder exercise that did not involve using the door frame. I think my door frames are too weak for the chin up bar and the resistance bands. Should the program be returned if you can't use your door frames and you don't have ceiling beams?

  • @nospaces08 I would look for an alternative to the chin up bar if you don't think your door frame is strong enough. P90X works wonders, just need to get your equipment in line. Have you tried the chin up bar? If not the chin up bar, try a free standing chin up bar.

  • do it come with p90x?

  • @elurirocks Go to our website extremely-fit(dot)com, and look at the P90X Deluxe package, it comes bundled with the P90X chin up bar. P90X and the bar are also sold individually. Thanks!

  • how portable is this chinup bar? im a uni student and i have to travel by plane to get home and to my uni. will this chin-up bar easily fit in a suitcase?

  • @Thongger I don't think you will be able to fit this in a suitcase. You can easily take it down, and put it back up, but I wouldn't want to try and travel by plane with it. I would leave it at the place you are at the most, and get a band and a doorway attachment when you travel.

  • @extremelyfit right. cheers. thx for the reply

  • @Thongger maybe you could try those bars that you put in the door. (just one bar that you can extend so it will tighten itself in the door). Those are pretty small.

  • my door frames are weak in my house and i dont want to use the door brackets that come with the bar, would the bar break my door frames?

  • @absolutelybungalowed Tough call, only one you can ultimately make. I think the brackets are important for stability, and without them, and you already having weak doorframes, this may not work as you hope.

  • The portable P90X is the best home piece of equipment you can buy for doing pull ups in the privacy of your home. If you can barely a do a pull up you can work your way up to as many as you did before or as many as you wish. Practice and determination are the key ingredients. I hear so many excuses there all nonsensical. e.g'' am too old''' '' i don't have time''

  • What if you weigh 260 lbs? Will the door frame break?

  • @modelslist If you have a standard doorframe, it should work. The bar is rated for 300 lbs. Get all the details at our website. Thanks,

  • my door frame is a little small and it rips my chin up bar foam so i cant tdo pull ups but i put a towel there dso it doesnt rip

  • It looks good, but I'm more concerned with why door frame: It's only held up bu tiny screws in sheet rock, so I'm guessing as soon as I put my weight on it the door frame and a chunk of the wall will break off.

  • @Landofjello It comes with sheet rock anchors, and metal brackets. Once in place, the weight is distrubuted to the bracets and also the bar braces on the door frame as well, which helps to distribute the weight. I have used one of these for about 3 years, with no issues on carrying the weight.

  • I would recommend that you use them for the added support.

  • do I have to use the L-shaped metal attachments or are they optional?

  • i just got this this morning. are the bolts and nuts supposed to be a bit loose? like i can't tighten it as much as i can because there's a rubber band in the nut. please reply. thanks

  • Continue to tighten the bolt past that rubber band in the nut. It's designed to act as a locking device once you tighten it fully. Post back if you have any trouble. Thanks,

  • @extremelyfit i have the same problem with the loose bolts, additionally my bar doesnt want to rest parallel. the holes seem to have been put in incorrectly

  • can i just use a normal one bar chin up bar for the exercises?

  • Yes, a regular chin up bar works fine. This one is convenient if you don't have a place to hang a chin up bar, or if you are working out inside.

  • @extremelyfit there are alot smaller ones, the one i have, can do all the same moves, but it dosent have the second set of handles. its just outside the doorway. will that work for p90x?ive been doing insanity so...

  • NICE. Very nice. I think I will be buying one of these very soon.
