BTW: That Brian's studio is a great place isn't new to me but I think it lacks of a window or two. You guys know why composers often don't have a view outside their rooms? Whatever time it is they sit in artificial lighted rooms. Unalluring places or something else?
@rufftone one of many reasons. 1. No sense of time means no sense of it being "too late to work" (Like a casino), 2. That would be horrible for the acoustics because it would not be entirely soundproof with glass windows (I own a studio and I know the differences in acoustics between room with solid double layer walls and a room that decided to be a "music room").
@urbanecho That makes sence. I supposed a window or two doesn't have an impact to the sound (depending on the size of the window) if the rest of the room/walls is treated.
But what about the window to the recording room that we see in Brians studio?
@rufftone Those are usually tri-layered glass specifically set. Very expensive to get just right because loud frequency can cause an amateur's studio to rattle.

Waaahhhh!! Anyone knows where to get score sheets from his music? Even the score book he showed at around 2:00 looks way interesting! ;-)
