today i had to bought a cheap crappy looking usb mouse and it works.. great... my wireless mouse lag terrible... i wonder how the people dont complain about macs and how they use them for design
For what it's worth, same problem here just came up. Happens with two USB mice and one Bluetooth mouse. Same problem happens when running from install DVD. None of these problems happen under Windows 7 on this computer.
Mine just started doing this. Works ok in Windows under bootcamp, skips significantly in OS X, both 32 bit and 64 bit, even when booting off a totally different drive. I've run cinebench, which has about the same scores, but the quality of the opengl portion is obviously degraded. I am beginning to think it is a video card issue.
My Magic Mouse does this too. It is jittery and lags a great deal. Sometimes I have to take multiple swipes just to get the damn cursor from one side of the screen to the other! Obviously it is an interference issue, but so far I cannot locate the source. I ended up going back to a wired mouse. Any ideas out there??

Same issue here. Usually under heavy processor load, but it still happens frequently under a light load. Wired mouse does not have the issue at all.
