  • Love the video. I do see a bike outside of a psychiatrist's office. My psych is a biker.....

  • Dude , You should charge people for watching this :D - really "FAT" staff !! BTW Im going to ride... right now. Cya on the road guys!!

  • You captured the way every rider feels while riding on two. Amazing and well done !

  • Awesome video man! Good to see someone from Calgary making some vids, I am hoping to get my first bike this summer!

  • @CalcityAirsoft Sweet! Just be careful bro. In the show "the long way around" where two guys ride all over the earth, they only had two accidents. And they were BOTH in Calgary! Very aggressive drivers who pay NO attention to riders. Keep your head on a swivel and take lessons. That's my advice for the day. Haha

  • @ROKKIT44 Yea i think that's the one where they travel through UK, Europe, Kazhkstan, Russia, Canada and US right. The best part is it happened to both of them, not just one. It's not my place to speak on it as i've never been to Canada but the accident with Charlie makes me think stopping at a red light has the same risk at running one.

  • @ROKKIT44 They must have never gone through Toronto ;p Joking asdie New York, Calgary, and Toronto are all full of $%^& heads ;P

  • man... i just cant describe what i just saw... awesome!!!

  • @lucianoaugustob I'm happy you enjoyed it.

  • I must have watched this video loads of times, it's one of my favorites of all time. It's awesome and inspiring. Everytime I feel a bit down I look at this video then go for a ride! (weather permitting). Keep up the top work Rokkit, love your work.

  • @aliwakeskate Ride for me bro! My bike won't be getting out of the snow for a while.

  • For a unknown reason, I didn't see this vid on my feed this summer. Great. Really.

  • @seb1041 Better late than never is what I always say. Thanks for stopping by. :)

  • Absolutely awesome! I like this video better each and every time I watch it. You've got some serious talent for making videos that really connect with us viewers. Keep up the great work!

  • @650tom Thank you sir! I'll do my best to keep 'em comin'!

  • loved it as much as your perception video

  • @pfout That's great! I'm glad you did!

  • you live in Calgary? ... your videos are sweet

  • @StOnErTaNk I do. And thank you sir.

  • Many people tell me that i'm crazy and obsessed with motorcycles. And I am not ashamed to admit it. This video further reinforces why I do what I do.

  • @wabashofutah I'm glad I could help. :)

  • Are you serious? There are dislikes on this video? Probably mini-van drivers. =)

Awesome video though! In my top-ten for sure.

  • @hotthedd911 I actually saw one guy admit in a comment box that he disliked a video just because no one had. Go figure. Seems a little retarded if you ask me. Lol

  • By far the best video of any kind that I have ever witnessed on Youtube! Just amazing! Subscribed after the first minute! Makes me proud to be a motorcycle owner.

  • @dreamcube09 That's great man! I'm glad you stopped by. Hope to keep 'em comin' for ya!

  • @ROKKIT44 I hope to see more from ya'! Wathcing you and your peers on youtube is the only thing keeping me sane until winter ends! I did get to ride until November here year in Michigan so that was pretty sweet. How long is the riding season up there eh?

  • @kontaktseistrup What the fuck???

  • exellent dude, just great, for us riders(and anyone else) fits perfect

  • exellent dude, just great, for us riders(and anyone else) fits perfect

  • @josepca89 Thank you. I like to tell a story and it always feels good when said story connects with people.

  • @ROKKIT44 keep it up, thx for the vid

  • Okay, how is the "circling shot" accomplished? Great video!

  • @cromick69 Magic!

  • @ROKKIT44 Magic shmagic. Best guess I'd say is that you have some kind of arm attached to your helmet and you're either taking a bunch of single shots and splicing them together, or you've got some kind of rig that spins that arm/camera around and you're slowing the image down. But thanks for your "help" anyway :p

  • @cromick69 Haha! Yeah, I'm in the middle of putting together a vid that shows exactly how I made it. Suffice to say, it is just a GoPro mounted to an aluminum arm that is attached to an old chair caster swivel that is attached to a mounting plate that is attached via double sided foam tape to my helmet. SIMPLE! :)

  • @ROKKIT44 Clever. Great music in your vids, too. Ride safely!

  • AWESOME VIDEO O__O. FINAL CUT?

  • @gmjspinnas99 Final Cut Pro X in fact.

  • @ROKKIT44 KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

  • One of my all time favorites.

  • @americanmadexb Thank you very much!

  • wow just amazing video man, love seeing another calgary rider with some talent, it just saddens me right now to remember what calgary looks like in the summer and know what it actually looks like now lol my R1 needs to taste speed soon

ps gotta love those alberta rockies

  • @infinitepurelive That's cool. I like to think it makes us appreciate the little time we get.

  • when I had my motorbike accident in 2001, I got high-sided and shattered my right fore arm bone near the wrist and the other bone came out of it's socket at the wrist joint... I was in hospital and the psychologist came in and asked me if I have a fear of bikes now... I said piss of idiot, nothing will keep me from riding, except death. hehe!

I still got the steel plate in it to this day, with a lovely scar to match.

  • @MetlHead37 Chicks dig scars. Haha

  • Great cinematography my friend, very well put together. This should be playing in every motorcycle shop around the world!

  • @AustinH234 I wouldn't stop 'em either. Cheers!

  • What can I say... This video is a masterpiece! And it summarizes all the things i LOVE about riding a bike. Thank you very much for this video! I really mean it! Thank your! :')

  • @RedBoyforCE I am very happy this video connected with you in some way. It is always so cool to see how universal the passion for riding really is.

  • @ROKKIT44 I saved it to my playlist, called "Motivation". Cause this reminds me of my childhood desire, riding a motorcycle into the unknown, in sunset. This is what I really long for right now.

I'm planing to get the licence to ride the bike (not only scooters, I have an Aerox 50cc), but my family and love does not let me do it with a light heart.

Your video reminded me of how sweet it would be, to achieve my dream.

    Thank You! :)

  • @RedBoyforCE Any way I can help keep the dream alive is alright by me.

  • @ROKKIT44 When i turn 16 in 4 months, i'm gonna go for y bike licence :P

  • @ScalpulusAU Congrats! Just take it slow bro. And wear your gear. Jeans last less than four feet at highway speeds. Then it's just your skin sliding down the road.

  • @ROKKIT44 Haha, Good to know XD

I'm all good with the clutch and changing gears because I've been riding manuals for 6 years :P

But it's just the whole new feel and the weight that's gonna get me :P

  • How can you even create such a perfect video? ? it's awesome!

  • @MrSexyfirefighter It took a lot of time and multiple shoots that I shot after making a shot list. But I enjoyed every moment of it. Thanks for the comment.

  • Fucking Brilliant !!! 100% loved every second of it, and I totally agree with HeavyHitter5150 comment too.

    (sorry for the swearing) ;-]

  • @MetlHead37 F'in A! Haha. Thanks bro!

  • @ROKKIT44 wot does F'in A! mean?

  • @MetlHead37 It's a good thing.

  • Wow! Just Wow! This video fully captures the essence of motorcycling. This is why I'm a motorcycle enthusiast. Not a biker, not a squid or a racer boy or any other name others like to pin on any of us. Either you get it or you don't, no amount of explaining it to anybody will make them understand.

  • @HeavyHitter5150 Couldn't agree more. Prejudice is most simply put as the act of judging without complete information. This usually means the judgement is wrong as a result. I just hope if anyone who is not a rider sees this and realizes we aren't all squids or daredevils etc. But if they don't, it's there loss. Thank you for your comment.

  • @HeavyHitter5150 mate ... I could've said it better myself, I think this ROKKIT44 guy produces brilliant videos, nothing less.

  • omg your videos are amazing!!

  • @alukardFE I'm glad they speak to ya. No matter how hard I try, they are still a cheap substitute for the real thing. Which I am really missing right now - that is, riding for real.

  • @ROKKIT44 Why arent u riding?Winter?

  • Wow, , nice inspiration for new camera angles, let me think.....

  • @RoadcraftNottingham I like to push myself to think of different ways to show the same experience we all have. Thanks man.

  • Awesome video man, I've learned alot more on my bike in life, than I did with a car....where I'm all caged up.

  • @braceyoself777 As have I, my friend, as have I.

  • do you trust the suction cup mount for your gopro? debating whether I should use it

  • @wrx2surf I don't trust anything. Haha. I have seen the suction cup mount fail but to be fair, it was human error, not the mount. Either way, I attach a small string to the mount as a safety line if I don't get a good seal and the mount fails. One tip, when deciding where to attach the string depending on location, let the cam fall to see if it will swing into something dangerous like the wheels. If it might, find a different place to anchor the string.

  • @wrx2surf i trust mine

  • you don't see a bike in front of a therapist office because they choose to drive there

  • @Yellowromeo ok.

  • Great video! :D

  • @dude193547 Cheers!

  • Favorite video on youtube :D

  • @jeffiboys Thanks man. There are definitely a lot to choose from, that's fo sho.

  • 4 truck drivers!!

  • @ROKKIT44 4 dislikes -_-

  • @ZEEK38JACK Ah... now I get it. Well, you could be right, but a lot of truck drivers ride bikes as well. So it might be easier just to say 4 haters. Haha

  • @ROKKIT44 I'm sure they were just watching the video upside down and clicked the "thumbs up" for them ;)

Keep on putting your heart into your videos, because it shows!

  • still a very entertaining vid here bud!

  • @nickgnaime That is high praise, coming from you sir. Thank you very much.

  • @ROKKIT44 Look at all the views, too! I shared it with a buddy of mine that is "thinking about buying a bike" to try and help inspire him to move forward =)

  • my bikes been in the shop for almost a month.. make a new video.. and entertain me.. thanks..

  • rokkit! ALLOW your videos to be viewed from ipods and shiz! kthanks lol. =D! stay safe !

  • @tyler16666 sorry dude, there is nothing I can do about this vid. I always allow all types. The song used here won't let me. Go figure.

  • @ROKKIT44 ah =/ no problem then man haha :D just youtube being a little suckish, great videos though! stay safe =)

  • @tyler16666 Go to keepvid.com and download it as an MP4.

  • @GeekMaster6000 how does this help with watching it on an ipod...lmfao....

  • @tyler16666 If you have an iPod that can display a video, then you can download the video as an MP4 and put it on the iPod.

  • i have to get my bike fixed lol,,i want to ride so bad

  • Very nice. Great work!

  • @gymkhanadog I do what I can. hehe. Thank you sir.

  • @ROKKIT44 How did you do the bullet time looking shots?

  • @gymkhanadog Bullet time? I don't understand.

  • @ROKKIT44 The shots at 0:45-0:56 and 1:31-1:35. Is the boom rotating atop your helmet?

They look very bullet-time. It's a type of videography that they invented when shooting The Matrix using dozens of still cameras to capture a moment in time at many different angles, then combine them in to actual motion format for a very cool 3d look.

  • @gymkhanadog Ah. Stay tuned. I'll show everyone soon enough. Haha

  • @ROKKIT44 Its got to be some type of mount that rotates around you, attached to your helmet?

  • Somehow I missed this video....... Don't know how........

But again in my opinion its a masterpiece, capturing the what life's all about !!

    Grtz from Holland

  • @hayawim Better late than never is what I say. Haha. I'm very happy you enjoyed it. Cheers!

  • Wow that highway run looks like FuN! LOL...i am one leg in one leg out as far as getting my license goes, i never rode a sportsbike before,, so how do i know what im missing on? Its a weird feeling wanting to take on something yet all u have as motivation is what u see and hope it brings. Perhaps taking the test and actually putting me in there will help me open my eyes...i dont mind paying to get that out of my list. Well see...

  • @ovariesniper I'm glad you are following your bliss. Welcome to the club sir.

  • I don't know you, and I don't think I'm gay, but this video made me fall just a little bit in love with you, man..!

    Awesome!!! :D

  • @haeggis73 Haha! Thanks man. With that said.... no eye contact for two weeks k?

  • @ROKKIT44 Sounds wise!

    :P

    :D

  • Ever since i started riding. everyone has asked me why i started in the first place. I really couldnt put it into words. It was almost a calling. I may not be able to tell people why i started, but this video and the "perception" video, helps me explain why i still do it. Thanks for helping me explain to my friends who are still locked up in their cage.

  • @gaeta34 That's what I like about video. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, video is worth a thousand pictures. Thank you for the kind words.

  • @ROKKIT44 No problem, Keep up the good work. You make good material. ON the down side. I just got popped for doing 90 on the highway. Thats going to cost me pretty penny. :(

  • Amazing clip, man! It really opens peoples eyes as to what we riders feel when we got for a ride. It really touched my soul. Keep making these clips. Keep riding! Best wishes, LD.

  • @lambdadryver Thank you. I am very glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of work but a labour of love nonetheless.

  • @ROKKIT44 And your labour won't go unnoticed! I have already shown the video to a few of my friends that are on thier way to becoming riding partners to open their eyes. Even the sceptics said that they might even give it a try just to seen if it's true. Really an amazing work!

  • awesome video as always.. you know as your videos get more famous, you're going to get a lot of people asking questions.. how do you get some of those angles? does the fuzz give you any trouble when you mount the gopro in front of your face? whens the next video coming out? etc.. looking forward to the next one..

  • @fawkmee So far I haven't had any police hassle me on the gopro mount I use. Police in AB at least are pretty cool. I know there are exceptions with officious jerks, but most of them understand and know the deal. Most of them I have talked to actually ride themselves. As for the next vid, personally I had a rough summer so I pressed pause on the shooting. But I am back now, just before the snow starts to fly. I should have something done soon.

  • Why not available on mobile? Lame.

  • @SachiJones If it would let me I would. Yt restricted it, not me. Sorry about that.

  • @ROKKIT44 Ah. No worries then.. I was able to get to a computer finally. Very nice video. Footage, editing, bikes, "lessons", all fantastic. Thanks for posting =)

  • awesome.

  • @activ3RR Thank you.

  • Since I learned to ride ~2 months ago I've got myself a little 125 to gain experience on. I love every second of it. This video is amazing :)

  • @yesimalpha Glad to have you as part of the riding family. Be sure to check out my video, "Spot the stupid". It might just save your life one day. :)

  • @ROKKIT44, you really rocked it with this vid. Thanks for sharing.

  • @l0l0yd Did I rock it or did I "ROKKIT"? Haha. I couldn't resist. Thank you for the kind words.

  • Great vid man, but how the hell do you that spinning camera around you?

  • @GuilhermeCosta1992 it's magical, that's how. Haha. I'll let you all see the rig in my next vid when I get the chance to shoot the last clip I need before it's uploaded.

  • Thanks brother!

  • @mminholi No probs

  • I watch it every single day... Really. Greetings from Poland.

  • @749Rintherain Wow. I'm happy to have made an impression. Hello back from Canada!

  • Brilliant! Thanks man. will share.

  • @mjisok Thanks for stoppin' by!

  • brilliant video, mate. riding is the only way I make sense of the world.

  • @TheMachRider Amen brotha!

  • There was a life before this video? Nooo!!!!, There is a life now, after this wonderfull video... You really catch the spirit, the essence of a biker soul you are the best!!!! A huge hug for you from Colombia!!!!, My biker club really admires you!!!

  • @york2500 Say hello to the club for me then. :)

  • none can describe this video is just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...left me speechless

  • @vivanksnice Cheers my friend. T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U...

  • One of the best video's ever...epic! Thanks for taking the time to put it together and share it with us. Much respect!

  • @JayDubbs37 It took a lot of time and effort for sure! But a labour of love it sure is!

  • AMAZING video. It's been a long time since I've been left speechless AND breathless by anything mush less a YouTube video. I will most certainly be posting this to my Facebook and sharing with all my friends. Thanks for such a great message!

  • @USMCEvan Thank you for sharing it. I hope you were able to catch your breath. Haha. Thanks so much for the kind words.

  • great video!!! awesome!!! can i ask what is the name of the background music? thanks!!

  • @king769885 Click the link on the bottom right of the player.

  • @ROKKIT44 is the Asphalt & Rubber? but i still can't find the name of the song.....

  • pussy, life is just a race to win

  • Wow what a great video ! i'm sharing this to everyone that asks me what do i feel when i ride my repsol. Thank you and keep on post more amazing videos.

  • @czarbrain79 I will do what I can man. Thanks!

  • Great video! I have no words to describe what I feel seeing this master piece.

It's such a good synthesis of riding a bike. I've learned much of these tips during many years of riding.

    Thanks!

  • @rickhuntervf1s Cheers my friend. It's great the way we all can share in this passion of ours.

  • This took a lot of effort to make and the result really captures the heart of riding. I would show this to some others that don't understand but the scenes of passing on yellow (although not blattent) and obvious speeding (although not excessive IMO because I ride) means that it would still give people the wrong impression. I understand where you're coming from. Others may not. Keep posting. These are great. -crazykz

  • @curtgran I think there is one point where the line goes from dotted to solid and I just barely cross the solid as I finish passing. As for speeding... no comment. :) I think most cagers overlook those points for the sake of the message. Even my mother who is the biggest stickler on this stuff didn't comment on any infractions. But ya never know. I appreciate your thoughtful response sir. I will do my best to keep 'em comin.

  • GREAT Video!!!

  • @hvowell Merci

  • Wow. Glorious. This is so powerful. Intelligent message and such a free expression. That's why I love my bike. Kudos to you sir, you certainly are a gem.

  • @SmilesOfEvil Muchos Gracious senor.

  • Thank you for this !

  • @dariloco87 You're welcome.

  • Great vid bud!!!! ya got mad skills ; )

  • @Rudyv123 I do what I can. :)

  • Spectacular video. Shared it on Facebook and many of my riding friends are re-sharing. People love it no matter what they ride. As long as they ride, they understand. Looking forward to the making-of video!

  • @jeffdhenshaw Thank you so much man. I did what I could to appeal to the universal aspect of riding and not so much any particular brand.

  • 2 people are car drivers who haven't found themselves yet because they aint rode a motorbike.

  • @andymuza You always find a hater or two. It's part of life. The fact I barely get any haters still amazes me.

  • My non-moto friends always ask...why do you ride? Aren't you afraid of dying? I try to tell them my R6 saves my life every day. ROKKIT44, your video will be my response when they ask me what I mean by that. Thanks!

  • @emilyrobarge I truly appreciate your comment. I am proud to be a part of the conversation.

  • from a fellow r6 rider.. this is purely amazing. at first i thought it was an actually motorcycle company dvd teaser or something.. but great video

  • @keg2 That's cool you thought it was pro. Cheers bro!
