Let's be straight forward here. Football is business, aside from being a beautiful game. And yes, with Beckham joining the profits will increase.

But on the other hand, Milan can use his qualities. Prilo is the artery to Milan build-up, and when he's out injured, Milan has a harder time building up attacks. Beckham brings in that back-up/additional supreme passing quality. And with Gattuso currently out injured, Beckham fits right in.

So don't say that Beckham is just a marketing ploy...
