  • This scene contradicts lots of what Estus Pirkle said in the movie. THe kids have their ear drums punctured so they can't learn about christianity but another scene in the movie has the kids being taught that Communism is good. Really weird, but Estus Pirkle was heavily exxagerating what the real soviet invasion would be like--which would be much worse than this

  • WTF this is awesome

I wish we could really do this to christians

  • Wow, they made that kid puke just for the scene? Cool. What's up with the old man puking sounds btw.? :D

  • i dont see what an economic/political system has to do with religion but hey think of it this way, your dying for your beliefs your a martyr! and thats a golden ticket into the kingdom

  • Now that we have a Kenyan born African Marxist as President....perhaps this Movie is not all that untimely now.

  • This reminds me of world war II

  • like lambs to the slaughter

  • True, this movie is anti-communist, cold war hysteria, but lets remember that there were & are regimes in the world which force this kind of hardship on its citizens. It could be in the name of any ideology, and this movie certainly exploits the hardships faced by Christians in Communist states, but this happened under Stalin, Mao & Pol Pot. It also happened non-Communist states, like El Salvadore, Chile, and now, Sudan. Be careful when mocking this kind of suffering, because it's real.

  • when that kid puked i could not stop laughing!!!

  • He pukes like an old man

  • Oh no those poor kids who will never hear a Bible Sermon again-- GASP!

  • Well I saw this movie and the entire series during revival back in the early 70's and I still remember them and search for THE BURNING HELL>. It's incredible and I do believe this as well...

  • Right. But one thig is that we ignore democracy is even more rotten than Communism.

  • I saw this movie at church in 1971 at the age of 5. Five! I had nightmares for years. The makers of this garbage should be shot!

  • What were the other people's reaction to this film in the church. I know you were only 5 but I was just wondering. I was only taken to a Lutheran Church growing up (b. 1968) and they never showed these fundamentalist films.

  • @ThoughtTraveler The same as mine. Scared my us to death. As a five year old, it made me think that one day I would have to be in the army and that I would be tortured by Russian soldiers.

  • @hognutt2

Hey, "hognutt2", you should be shot for not having REPENTED from your sins since you first saw this movie at church in 1971 at the age of 5.

Now you, like garbage, will be thrown into Hell-Fire & The ETERNAL LAKE OF FIRE; unless & until YOU REPENT--AND REPENT QUICKLY & FAST BECAUSE YOUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT ! ! !

*"Except You REPENT, Ye Will ALL LIKEWISE PERISH (ETERNALLY IN HELL-FIRE & THE EVERLASTING LAKE OF FIRE: PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL & HIS ANGELS [& sinners like "hognutt2"]) !

  • yaaaay camp!

  • those poor, persecuted christians. it just makes a soul weep.

  • Hilarious

  • Where in the Hell did they come up with this SHIT!!! Did they drink a bunch of moonshine and make a movie?

  • ...a pointed bamboo stick that somehow goes through their heads and doesn't kill them...

  • Excellent. You a p-lister, MickTravisBickle?

  • P-Lister?

  • Can't post url. Try googling 'pynchon-l'. We are among you.

  • I guess I was a P-Lister and didn't even know it. Sweet Jesus, I rock so hard.
