This guy needs to be working at one of the top universities, getting paid bank, he definitely deserves it more than the douchebags that are currently teaching.
This is what a REAL o-chem teacher should be like. The others can stay with their research, but for the love of God stay out of the classroom if they can't/don't want to teach.
Thanks man a lot, you helped me in many things I just couldn't understand in OCH, now it's much easier and I find it interesting :). Greetings from Slovakia :)
See if the professors at my college were like you I'd have a higher grade but sadly that is not true. Thank you for your time and effort in making this video.
This guy is smart and educated. He's definitely a dying breed. Today's generation of young adults believes being smart and educated is not only uncool, but also a waste of time.
@Bob8199 Considering colleges are overflowing with students and it's 10 times harder to get into any college nowadays than it was 10, 20, or 30 years ago... your statement is rather stupid and false...
@Bob8199 HAHAHAHA coming from a guy who's favourited vidoes of chicks with big boobs with comments like you'd like to fuck them, you sir aren't exactly the best judge at how smart this young generation is.
If you like using tangible chemical models and you don't have access to one, you can get a page of paper and tear into two strips.. then twist them into little "ropes". Then, tie them together so they resemble a carbon with 4 hydrogens on it (or whatever other atoms you want to pretend..). Then you can label them 1,2,3,4 and you have a 3d shape ;)
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I can't visualize at all. I have a take home exam to complete by 10 am tomorrow and my uncle just passed away and I can barely focus as it is. This video has been a godsend. Thank you.
OH MY GOD I FUCKING LOVE YOU, I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING TO FUCKING VISUALIZE AND AFTER AN HOUR OF FRUSTRATION FOUND YOUR VIDEO AND IT HELPS THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS
well, i don't wanna be picky here but if u draw an ammonium group dont forget to put the formal charge (+) on the nitrogen ...he probably meant a amino group and so it is forgiven cause its not essential for explaining stereochemistry
Hey man, just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate these videos. They have been extremely helpful in learning the often confusing O chem material.
Please tell me how I can convert a molecule that is shown with wedges, dashes, and straight lines into the mechanical method. Pleease need help before test on 5/4/09.
thank you so much Stereochemistry seemed like a really hard concept but you make it seem so simple that my homework has been cut in half. yes my visualization skills are not that great so yes this method really helps.
