Man for a southern deer thats pretty good, up here in nebraska though we have deer that are 2 to 3 times that size. But its all just our region. How much did that buck weigh out at?
Excellent! I hope that you will post future hunts with traditional muzzle loading firearms. Please do get a camera man with you to film the actual stalking part of the hunt.
Gee....you dragged that little buck up a big hill and then talked about how heavy he was. DON`T YOU THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD IDEA TO GUT HIM OUT FIRST??....Here`s your sign Gut him out and get him filled up with ice before the meat goes bad...your hunting in georgia where it is warm for crying out loud.
Where do you go that you can do these sorts of treks? I can't think of anywhere that you can move freely around with a firearm and hunt things year round in the US. You have access to a huge amount of private land? I think it is very cool though I have always wanted to live like a fur trapper back in the old days for a month or so.
@blacksmithju That's great. I have been thinking of getting one (a flintlock) and I've heard some critisism that it's unethical if you don't use centrefire to hunt. I'd say your video proves otherwise. Good job.

Great job all round! Now you know, once you pull the trigger, the fun is over and the work begins. But, it is sooooo worth it!

Thats not possible, as this deer wouldn't walk, he found it lying dead on the floor lol. Just kidding.

Thats Huntin! Not that low down cheatin Inline garbage. Muzzleloader season was started for hunters who wanted to hunt with traditional weapons!
Now it seems like a free for all tricked out muzzle loaders with scopes, power belt bullets, high burn rate powders!
These people with no manners are just flat our ruining the muzzle loader season!

now thats hunting, a one shot gun at long range, thats the shit you feel pride from. But an AK47 would have worked too.

70 meters ? good shooting. where was the impact ?
but i hope you have heat this buck, or you give the meat to friends ?
hunting yes, but with respect of the animal.
stg45 5 years ago
respect. with this gun youre giving the animal at least some chance. you got only one shot, without scope and limited range.
