I kinda like the idea of godzilla and the monsters talking beause in a godzilla movie you want to see monsters, not humans. In godzilla movies the monsters are the actors, not the people. You can probably make a whole movie with dialogue from the monsters, and just see the people run away screaming.

@ronito6 Voices? The monsters don't talk in the Japanese version. The dubbers aren't credited in the English version, but a guy named Ted Thomas dubbed Godzilla. You can look up a video on here that has Mr. Thomas interviewing the late Bruce Lee. It's called "Bruce Lee Ted Thomas Interview Part 1".

I hope it either has Rodan, King Ghidorah, or a New Monster in the American Reboot. As long as it isn't Mothra for the first movie... Although it will be interesting to see a Toho Monster Americanized for today's audiences even Mothra.

Still im pretty damn excited, an even though i don't care for 3D, for Godzilla it might look pretty awesome. It will probably the only movie that i will ever pay to see in IMAX an 3D

@godzilla1077 Oh, I was commenting on the when when you said around the 70s is when Godzilla was going downhill in Japan. I think the earlier Showa era 50s-70s Godzilla movies were more memorable and had more memorable characters. The 1989-present Hesei era Godzilla movies don't seem as memorable... Biollante, Space Godzilla, Megaguirus? Those enemies are boring and lame, and not as memorable as Ghidrah, Gigan, Megalon or Mechagodzilla who were in his earlier films. lol

@boofdfast Megaguirus was part of the Millennium series (2000-Final Wars) which is seen as separate from the Hesei series. It was after DOM in which the series got really kid friendly with the excption of Godzilla vs Mecha Godzilla. It was the Hesei series which tried to make Godzilla "serious". Biollante is very memorable in that he was not a rehash of old classic enemies that he once faced.

Yeah, Godzilla did act more serious around 1989(Biollante) and later... but I just think the villians were kinda just "also rans", nothing memorable. Notice none of the Millenium or Hesei characters were in Final Wars. They weren't very memorable or had staying power.

@boofdfast I wouldn't say Biollante is an also ran but Megaguirus was very underwhelming as a foe for Godzilla. Battra was more intimidating and had more character than Megaguirus. Biollante is a one shot character that actually makes sense not making a return even though the window was left wide open for a possible return. I hate and love Space Godzilla.

@godzilla1077 Yeah, it was kinda sad how Biollante died... she was actually defending the Earth, right? I liked the idea of Battra... an evil version of Mothra was a cool concept. I also like the idea of Mecha or the Metal version of Mothra... it's a great defense option, in case Mothra ever has to use it. I also thought the idea of Fire Rodan, was stupid... what a waste of time. You'd think with a name like that, he would actually have more power than the regular Rodan. lol

Biollante was an awesome enemy, very under-rated as far as Godzilla villains go. While i didn't care for Space-Godzilla an esp Megaguirus an future foes at least they tried something new. Now it's always Ghidorah, or Mecha-Godzilla an Mothra.

One of the Good thing's about (Final War's) was you saw Gigan, King Ceasar? an others back with an updated look.

If anything Godzilla vs Biollante was 1 of Godzilla's last Great film's. They really went all out with that 1 an it showed.
