Yes, I did read the book too actually, and I'm sorry to say, didn't like it. Not for me. But it certainly made me take notice of this guy. A damn good author. So, I guess I am a bit of fucking good to Mr Ellroy!!!!

Zach, it's not an interview per se...this clip is actually the opening segment of Feast of Death, a documentary on Ellroy, his writings, relationship with his mother, the effect her murder had on him, and of course, the famous case of Elizabeth Short aka The Black Dahlia. I uploaded the last 20 min of this doc that deals with the Black Dahlia murder, just check my videos on the right.
