I love amtgard. I played it a few years ago, and I'm getting back into it. Although I don't know whether to go with my actual nickname(Judas) or to go with like an old germanic style name(since amtgard basicly is an old germanic style game/sport) Such as Hjalmarr or something lol xP

I'm a girl and i'm only 15 but i so want to play this. It looks really fun, and i think it's a great way to make friends and quit being so shy. I'm just so afraid of being such a newb. Either way, we all have to begin in some way, so i'm excited to see how it goes this Sunday at the park i'm going to where they hold this event. :D

my uncles decided to quit amtgard a year ago, they then decided to create their own game similar (but better) than it. It's called fireball, i don't want to be criticized about this and don't ask me if you can join, it's still in beta testing (after that it will be released to the world) ( i also dont want questions about it,theres no use in telling you people about it yet)

The Gainesville, FL group is nothing like it used to be.  There are around 30 players weekly now, with 20 of them being rather new. The drama is gone, and the fun is back.
