It's not hard to throw someone that is 40 pounds lighter than you that is trying to throw punches. In fact, it is nothing to be proud of and there's a reason there are weight classes in any respectable martial arts. And that is the only time he was really taken down. McLeod tried to end it early and bring Rypien down but Rypien lifted him back up. You're a sad example of humanity....

Yep, ippon seoinage is the one-armed shoulder throw, but he'd need to have both feet between the other guy's feet and lift him off the ground and over his back for it to be that throw. What he did looks more like the harai goshi "hip sweep". Whatever it was, it was a good throw, but pretty dangerous on ice with helmets off--coulda ended up pretty nasty...
