So great to find this. I loved playing this song on an American university radio station in the mid-late 80s. I never knew anything about the Swell Maps -- I just stumbled on the record somehow. It would have been amazing to have access to information like we have now.

i notice on the new o2 advert for priority booking of gorillaz gigs, that noodle is wearing a 'swell maps' t-shirt. Considering that Blur used to be called Seymour....i wonder if this is the song they got their original name from?

i noticed the tshirt too and was pleased the the maps got a reference on the telly...well spotted with the seymour reference...that had gone over my head...I loved this 7" when it came out..and thet were with Wire pushing boundaries in the Art Punk movement..was lucky enuff to see them live at ULU around '79..If they are new to anyone coming to this posting...Please explore this influential band and all its off shots....
