i wonder if the glass can get microfractures and all of a sudden give away when someone is jumping or only walking on it. if i walk on it i would be aware that it can give way and make me fall to the other world.
@nuclear1250 I'd say that it's likely to be something like 3 inches thick. They'd have tested it extensively to make sure that it was completely safe. I've never been up the tower though.
I did this walk today ;) Man it was fun. The "OUCH!" thing at the bottom was funny :D I just jumped up and down on it for about 5 minutes and got bored.
I use to work in the shop on top, one of my favevorite places to work, and i use to skive all the time and take a run and jump on the glass floor. it was fnny to see people get off it.
And ive been all the way to the top of the tower were the customers can`t go, where there is no netting and that was scary a nice sheer drop. I miss the place and would love to work back there again.

well yes, its okay for you to say that, but its TWO INCHES, THAT TWO INCHES, if it was like ten inches thick, yes id definately do it, BUT TWO INCHEA thats like really small, even so, i still lay on it for all of 5 seconds, then got up and darted of it

At the Auckland Skytower.
And thats like double the size of Blackpool.

It's more than double lizzie. Blackpool tower is 518 ft 9 inches and Sky Tower is 1076.1ft if you count the antenna
