I know how you do this. You're computer is slow for the game, so all the walls and the pool walls are flashing red. Some times for other sims 2 games the ground is flashing pink.

@xkaoriix btw just for people unsure you do need a graphics card to use your computer or else it wouldent work at all and even installing expansions onto the sims will not cause this to happen, it either a cheat that the creator of the video has put together or a very bad graphics bug.

The only way to try and re-create this would be to remove all your installed patches and hope you get the bug(caution this will and can mess up your game)

You can't carpet over pools, no matter what cheat you use.

And carpets STILL SHOW WATER AND DON'T FLASH.

Anyway, your graphics card doesn't meet the correct requirements (or it might, but barely) to generate the pool.

Get a new one, and look up what ones support TS2. :)

What he did was put the cheat move_objects on, on and put red carpet over the pool. Move_objects on allows you to pick up anything, even sims, also move anything anywhere.

Your pool might be doing that because of a graphics problem, my walls used to do the same thing. I would check your computer and make sure everything is ok with the wires.
