  • it's comedy...I think...

You americans have weird sense of humor

  • @astroblaster56 What?

  • Plain and clear if you believe in god then you should believe in monsters. If you believe in god your stupid, no even more stupid then thinking the shit you read is fact because you read it. Just because you believe in something doesn't make it real. If god made man then who made god? I'll answer my own question, god didn't make man, man made god....!!! Fucking morons.

  • The first assumption of what really is an atheist, depicted me very well.

    I love you Gerbie......

  • Or... Athiests are fucking smart

  • awww. someone was a shielded child.

  • I love sex and death metal

  • we dont think like :p were pretty normal people it doesnt make us break all rules it makes us ask our selfs who we are

  • Hey now, I have a fake mustache fetish! How dare you insult us mustachionists.

  • Yeah I don't mind Dave!

I hate those people that they say that they know that there isn't a God... it's just such a nonsensical sentence...

You don't 'know' things simply based on a lot of evidence which has no direct correlation with things that can't be scientifically observed in the first place.

In fact, truth is only a relevant term to it's field of research in question. Your personal truth is bollocks use to anyone else so don't wave it around atheists, theists, whatevers...

  • @Redflowers9 I can safely say there are no unicorns or leprechauns but i can't disprove those either.

  • @asdfg79660 if that assumption is relevant to your well being then good for you but it's not some truth that everyone needs to obey and I have a problem with the people who think it is because that strikes me as the same careless attitude that religions have... which is this arrogance despite all the philosophy and science that brighter people have accepted with an open mind. Science is the best thing to take for granted to better our lives with but God isn't even relevant in science.

  • @asdfg79660 it's an assumption that you can look at a God through a scientific point of view and make claims. Like I said the relevance of any science is to better society not to understand what the truth is. That's still a philosophical matter and you can't just take something like god and apply it to science and hope for something magical because it's not relevant to societies benefit... there's no experiments for that potential idea. The beauty is, you can make your own interpretation.

  • search amazing atheist that is the anatomy of the atheist

  • I grew up as an atheist, but I wish I was Christian. I wish I believed in an afterlife. I wish I believed that when all my friends and family die, I could still see them when my time comes. I wish I believed that life had actual meaning and purpose. But I don't, and I can't. Ce la vie.

  • @Aulmeyda

I used to think like you. The truth is, the easiest thing to do is believe the truth. Sure, most Christians brag about relying on god to pull them through life's trials, give them purpose, etc., but they're really just denying reality. I feel embracing reality has made me a hell of a lot stronger than my christian girlfriend and coworkers. Seeing them deal with things by referring to an ancient, barbaric text just makes me feel like an adult among children.

  • @iHAVE1j Well, ignorance is bliss only because you don't know any better. With the knowledge I have now, I wouldn't trade it off for anything, but if I didn't? Then wouldn't mind being Christian.

  • @Aulmeyda

I think most Athiest think that way, i know i do.

It's hard to swallow the fact that there is no god, no afterlife, no "plan" your fate isn't in someone else's hands, life would be much easier if all these things were true.

  • I was almost about to hate this video, but then it turned around and I liked it.

  • Nope. ಠ__ಠ

  • Comment removed

  • I don't hate God. I don't believe in him/he doesn't exist to me.

  • Brilliant video. Thank you.

  • I have none of these feelings for atheists but for some of the people in your comunity that discriminate directly towards christians because we are more passive.I did not like the point on extremists for they are not part of us.Ask any Muslim or really any one who has some extremists because I know you guys have a few but they are kinda rare.just a question for if we evolved(I dont believe in evolution but just a question)after the first trilopod how did more come from the one?

  • I don't remember before I was born, I won't know after I die. CASE CLOSED.

  • Great video. I'm glad I saw it through to the end, or I might have gotten the wrong idea.

  • God knows all about you atheists

  • The 59 elements found in the human body are all found on the earths crust.

This is amazing because what the Bible says perfectly match the scientific composition of a human body.

  • @majorl311 All that means is that organisms use the chemicals which are easily available to them which makes sense. It would be more impressive if organisms required something that was only available in the centre of the earth and had to be magiced up by god in order for them to survive, but that's not what happens. And how come "science" is OK when it "agrees" with the bible, but not when it doesn't? Hypocrisy at its finest.

  • @fatmikecj science is not perfect the drugs made by the huge pharmaceutical companies are constantly causing problems in the human body, because God designed us and He designed the food the body uses to keep us healthy and man has altered all that and now wee have cancers and other diseases, the body made and designed by God ,you car if it had an engine that runs on high octane gas will break down if you use the wrong fuel

  • @majorl311 I never said that science was perfect, just that your arguments were ridiculous. Now you've come back with a whole bunch of more or less unrelated and ill-informed points which kind of prove me right. Thanks.

  • @fatmikecj ok lets go with you presumed arguments, abiogeneis is how we came about right ,according to the evolutionist with out intelligence then the bacteria in the mud began the long and winding road to life and life more abundantly slowly created itself into living creatures, males and females of e very sort and the butterfly was the most extraordinary of all because from and egg to a caterpillar to metamorphosis in the cocoon to the extraordinary exquisite beautify butterfly?

  • @majorl311 Well I wouldn't say the butterfly is any more or less extraordinary than anything else, but yes. Abiogenisis happened somehow and evolution took over. That's pretty much it in a very broad nutshell.

  • @fatmikecj it never happened like that with the abiogenisis, where are your eyewitnesses to this event?

  • @majorl311 Like what? Evolution is a fact, simple as. We can argue over details, but not about whether it happens, it does. Abiogenisis is a hypothesis. We don't know how it happened, but clearly it did because here we are. We don't need eyewitnesses to prove something happened.

  • @fatmikecj sorry but allow me to explain something the Bible says that God made them males and females ,birds, reptiles, mammals, now they had to be fully functioning in order for life to continue on, a male will fight others males for dominance and then the female must be in estrous, they breed the sperm enters the females finds its way to the egg, where it merges to start the development of the fetus, so the Bible had it right God made fully functioning males and females,!

  • @fatmikecj I don't think you would make a good detective, you would go find the crime had happened but based on your logic you would look at the evidence and say there was no person who committed this crime!

  • @majorl311 We know how sex evolved, it's extremely well understood. I think your major issue is that you simply don't understand evolution...at all. Also a quick question, Where are your eyewitnesses for the creation story. I imagine if you went to a crime you'd simply say nobody saw it so there was no crime right?

  • @fatmikecj The Bible is the eyewitnesses account of the creation, God made us and He left the owners manual,He left us with the account of the creation and He left a trouble shooting guide as to what to do when your relationship with Him goes wrong, sin it the number one problem under the trouble shooting guide and this is how the problem is reconciled with Him,you admit your sin and repent of it ask forgiveness and start to obey God,this reconciles you with God, your maker!

  • @majorl311 No the bible is a book. There's nothing to suggest that it was written by some fantastic deity, but due to the number of errors it has there's plenty to suggest it was simply written by people who didn't have the understanding of the world that we have today. It's not even particularly well written.

  • @fatmikecj I guess you can test out your theory but telling someone who understands the intricacies of the Bible and you don't understand it would be like you telling an electrician about how to wire a house when you yourself don't know how to wire the house both can have shocking results, are you a theologian?

  • @majorl311 Are you? I have a pretty good understanding of what the bible is. I wouldn't claim to be an expert though. What I would claim is that, based on this conversation so far, you have very little knowledge of science.

  • @fatmikecj The Bible is about the fall of man from grace, and the redemption of man, each one of us must decide to accept God or reject God, you do not cease to live on when your body dies, there are testimonies of this beyond and back people who have died, this coincides with the Bible's account of the next life, so you want to reconcile with God before you die or just assume that there is no Heaven or Hell no demons or angels, putting your soul on the line and rolling the dice?

  • @majorl311 Who said I'm assuming anything? I'm not being taken in by stories in which there is no evidence. I would say it takes a lot more assumption to be told something and say "Yeh, sounds about right." Than to be told something and say "How do you know that? What proof do you have? Why should I believe you?" Wouldn't you?

  • @fatmikecj check out Ian McCormack, here on you tube, and then there is Mickey Robinson,Howard Storm, Don Piper,Ronald Reagen, and many many others, I know the standard response from atheists is this, when the brain is deprived of oxygen then it hallucinates these things, really are you certain of this?

  • @majorl311 Well there's plenty of evidence of the brain doing odd things when it's chemistry is disturbed. Just look at drugs after all.

  • @fatmikecj I'm not going to sit around and argue with you all day, i presented my side you can watch those people on you tube or not your choice ,choose wisely your soul is at stake

    bye now

  • What are the scientific proof that man’s body came from the dust of the ground, as the Bible says? The human body is made up of materials and minerals found on the surface of the ground, and not from the core of the earth. Oxygen, being the most abundant element on the earth’s crust or on the ground, makes up 65 percent of the human body, and carbon, also abundant on the top soil of the ground, is 18 percent, and hydrogen is 10 percent.

Dave needs to know the truth!

  • (Job 10:9) “Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?”

(Romans 9:20-21) “Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?”

  • Funny xD beyond any religion or atheism, people are people and RESPECT comes 1st no matter if they believe in God or not,so live the life and appreciate what you have.Ppl waste so much time insulting &arguing about this theme instead just simply accept eachothers belief..

  • im an Athiest. and your argument in this video is quite possible a reason why someone like 'Dave' would become Athiest. but we're not all like that, most of us just grew up realising that the world is pretty dam amazing. a beautiful natural world that evolved over millions of years, that continues to advance with science. i really dont need a thousand year old book from the desert to tell me how i should behave and what to do.

i got my own brain and decent imagination, and i like using it.

  • Theists love making other people look wicked because (most) have some sort of inflated superiority complex that is rooted in their parents forcing them to go to a stuffy, crowded, loud congress that says confusing, boring dogma; they, even as children, know how silly a talking snake is, but they are threatened with infinite condemnation for asking skeptical questions that would, otherwise, make them look bright and intelligent among reasonable peers. Those bastards.

  • @TheOkami1113

Really? you think the Bible is direct? hahahaha you idiot.

That "talking snake" is a metaphor for Satan or Sin. go understand before you hate

  • @MrBigglesBuffalo Uh...so...what's the difference? You're getting mad over calling one fable the direct "metaphor", as you put it. Obviously, you haven't proven my case WRONG. And even so, either entities are just as supernatural. "That's not a burger, it's a Whopper". "That's not a ball of gas, it's a star". Metaphor, or not; generalization, or not. The object compared and the metaphor, itself, are mutually inclusive.

  • @TheOkami1113

Your case is that the garden of eden is about a talking sanke, I told you it was sin or satan and the snake is a metaphor, I have proved you wrong you fool, what are you 12?

Just because you sound smart in your petty comments does not mean you are.

If your case was true, then I could call a dog a cat and it wouldn't matter because according to you metaphor and the object are inclusive...

  • @MrBigglesBuffalo (Eyeroll) I said it was mutually inclusive for THAT particular object: sorry, I forgot I have to spell that out. Nonetheless, if the Genesis story is just some parable, why are you even trying to defend it? The tree must be metaphor, too, right? How about Adam and Eve? How about the garden? How about the God? Like I said, the only thing you did was deconstruct your whole argument simply by saying one of the KEY factors in the story isn't supposed to be taken literally.

  • Is it bad that I really want an "I <3 Sin" shirt?

  • @iHAVE1j Are you saying that Atheists are deficient physically because they don't believe in the norm? A

  • I thought this video may have a point when I clicked on it.. of course I was wrong.

A vast majority of the human race is religious. Don't we almost always classify and consider mental illness in relation to the majority? If such a large percentage of the world population was bipolar, a non-bipolar person would be considered ill.

In my opinion, faith in a higher power is the psychological norm. Not having it makes one deficient and leaves him less capable than his religious peers.

  • @iHAVE1j HAHA, the only area in which it leaves you deficient is in the number of people willing to support you. Mental illness is not defined as a break from the majority, it is defined as a disability.

Besides this isn't just a general mental illness we are talking about this is specifically delusion. Which is defined as "maintaining fixed false beliefs even when confronted with facts, usually as a result of mental illness"

    Do you see the difference?

  • @TheAnubisDrake

I think you missed my point when I said it was a mental illness and left people deficient. If anything, atheists are more free from delusion than the religious population, but disillusionment is often the precursor to severe depression. A terminal man or woman who embraces the hard truth of imminent death definitely has more reason to be depressed than others. Still I think an atheist has to embrace many more hard truths than that..

  • @iHAVE1j We get over it for the most part. You can't be sad forever or you die. I think I am a fairly happy person most days. I love life and the experience I have I cherish.

What other hard truths than death and dealing with the fact that most of the world believes lies do we ave to deal with?

Not much else really bothers me about being an atheist.

  • @TheAnubisDrake

Hard truths an atheists has to deal with extend to everything. Life isn't a moral game where good actions are eventually met with reward, and even the possibility of good actions are questionable. There are no guidelines for relationships, love, what is natural or not or generally for life itself.. everything is up for further investigation. Even Freud said the psychology of religious and non-religious people is different. I'm just stating the obvious.

  • @iHAVE1j Those are all part of the same "hard truth," they are not separate.

  • @iHAVE1j Yeah, its like a walk in a park, to mind control a religius person.

  • @iHAVE1j

Even Freud? Freud is one of the most controversial people in psychology not the father of it. I take it you believe in penis even?

  • @whatever12231231 I do indeed believe in penis! It's kind of hard to not believe in it when I see one on me every day.

  • @whatever12231231

Yes. I believe in penis as well. ; )

  • @TheAnubisDrake

Why do you think molested and abused children are generally more mentally unstable than the rest of the population? Even after the maltreatment has ended, they have to embrace the truth that people and life are not fair, and that the stronger often do take advantage of the weaker in terrible ways. Many times they become religious and live in denial of this, which helps them cope.

  • I've never been religious, I think believing in and losing a god is harder than not believing in a god throughout your whole life. That is all.

  • MOTHER OF GOD someone decided to be rational

    ON THE INTERNET

    GAME OVER MAN game over

In all seriousness well done I appreciate a sensible person

  • great clip .. keep it up thanks

  • Witchcraft LOL

  • At first I thought this was a troll/satire video. Then when I continued watching it, I saw you were just an intelligent and logical person presenting an argument about people not needing God to have a moral code and shit like that. I tip my hat off to you, good sir.

I hope you won, because that was VERY reasonable.

  • Well we all have a moral code (called the Law) so lets now dispense with the G0d crap and move onto more important things like Is the Maroons going to make it 7 yrs in a row.

  • Whoever made this video...

    I love you.

  • i like god but not the ones who believe in him and offend others just because they don't.

and those people who manipulate his ideas, jesus wasn't gods son he was a philosopher

  • jesus riding a dinosaur xD

  • I really can get lost in Dave's eyes...

  • haha why doesnt this have more views

  • Many pious peeps believe only in the stereotyped atheist.

If they aren’t using reason and rationality, why would they expect anyone else to?

Religions survive on ignorance; it is the fodder of the clergy and without it, religion dies.

“Man will never be free until the last king is strangled by the entrails of the last priest.”

  • Good video caught me by surprise at the end though

  • oops i disliked it before i got to the end...........

  • Horrifying death metal.......................he should have said Nickelback!

  • AHAHHAHAHAHA xD THIS VIDEO IS BULLSHIT, ATHEISTS are ATHEISTS Bcuz they have a fucking normal human brain! not bcuz of the fucking bullshit dog or gerbil died or the war and disease that happens! -.-

  • @xxShadowable did you wach the whole video? this is an atheist video

  • @vindelextreme He is an atheist. His head is to thick to watch the rest of the video.

  • Lol. I'm Dave the atheist too.

  • Comment removed

  • cleave????? LIKE WITH A SWORD!?

  • Jesus died for you

  • @alexandervanwyk It's hard to die if you never existed.

  • @alexandervanwyk I fucked a girl for Jesus.

  • @Aanthanur Really? I fucked Jesus for a girl.

  • @Aanthanur Was her name Mary? :D

  • OK!

  • Im pretty sure Dave number one was right on the money. Dave number two was a made up fairytale.

  • The first part of this video is right on the money. People are dying in this world without God in their lives. Sure some may be morally good, but being good doesn't get you to heaven. Salvation is a free gift from God to all you accept it. Its not of works least any man should boast. No one can earn their way into heaven. You must be born again by accepting Jesus or forever be seperated from Him in hell.

Choose this day whom you will serve God or the devil life or death.

  • @lewiss1100 well i would have to disagree with you on that, people aren't dying due to the lack of a god in their lives, i dont believe in a god and yet im happy as I can be, alot of people dont believe in a god and they are happy, just religion assumes people are dying because they dont believe in a god which honestly its bloody bull they are dying because they dont have someone or something to guild them

  • @SalM262 Everyone in this world is born Spiritually dead. It is because of the sin of Adam disobeying God in the garden. His seed passed down through all generations. Likewise through one man Jesus all are made alive who accept His sacrafice on the cross for our sins. Sure people may seem happy without God in their lives. There is plenty of sin in the world to give people a false sense of happiness. But true happiness & Joy is found only in Jesus. To know your heaven bound, saved.

  • @lewiss1100 nah, I find happiness in the PEOPLE whom I love. Not the nonexistent man in the sky. I find happiness with my girlfriend, with my family, and with my friends.

  • @garulia17 True friends & family can love you & make you happy, but to know real Joy & peace only comes from God. Joy unspeakable & full of glory. Sooner or later all mankind will make mistakes & hurt you in one way or another, but God is perfect in all His ways. He alone will never leave you or forsake you. He alone can comfort you like no other & one day He will wipe away all tears, for He is the Prince of Peace.

  • @lewiss1100 Oh, except the part where he leaves you in Hell, leaves you to death and despair, sentences you to an eternity of death and hurt for five minutes of sin... Yeah, great guy!

  • Comment removed

  • @garulia17 sorry wrong person

  • @lewiss1100 so all i have to do is accept god as my savior, and then i can still do bad things and get into heaven, while atheists who live moral lives get to rot in hell? i believe in god, but what you said completey debunks the moral point of religion. why be good if all you have to do to get into heaven is accept god?

  • @louib716 As I said no one can be "good enough" to enter heaven by there works or good deeds, but its a gift everyone must accept Jesus as Savior. Being saved is not a liscense to sin. Those who are truly saved are new creatures old things have passed away & behold all things have become new. There is a change in the heart of a new believer to please God & follow His commandments. Of course none are perfect, even the best christian still sins. That is why God gives us grace & mercy.

  • @lewiss1100 in the grand scheme of things, a lack of belief seems like a pretty small mistake. god should forgive those who didn't believe but otherwise led good lives.

  • @louib716 It's not up to you or me, but God's way. He makes the rules. God says you must be born again to enter heaven only through the blood of Jesus.

The devil believes in God, but he is damned to hell for he is not covered in the blood of Jesus.

All mankind must repent of their sins call on the name of Jesus & you shall be saved.

All other ways lead to hell & death.

  • @lewiss1100 oh really? so god makes all the rules eh?

  • @DaHuntsman1 That's correct. Man can make there own rules in a society, but anything that goes against God's rules, man shall eventually fall under God's wrath. For example man says gay marriage is fine & abortion. God clearly says do not kill & a man shall leave his father & mother for this reason-to cleave unto his wife. NOT man with man or woman with woman! Those who don't repent of their sins shall be punished.

  • @lewiss1100 and who will punish your god for his genocide?

  • @Aanthanur God has no judge nor does He need one. For He alone is Holy & perfect in all His ways.

  • @lewiss1100 when he is perfect, and he created humans, why had he to flood the whole planet and kill almost all life?

  • @lewiss1100 that's a pretty shitty rule. i have a hard time believeing that god is that petty, and by the way, this line is pretty fucking psycho:

"The devil believes in God, but he is damned to hell for he is not covered in the blood of Jesus."

sounds cultish. i dont like it.

  • @louib716 Those christians who do sin need to repent. They will feel lead to repent by the Holy Spirit. The differnece in believers & unbelievers is believers try to please God, they put on the mind of Christ. Trying to follow in His foot steps to be more like Him daily. None of us will ever be completly like Jesus in this world, but we strive to be. Loving one another & forgiving one another & praying for one another.

  • I knew this was a troll from the beginning.

  • @JezusSlave Have you met Sheogorath?... Because you look like you did.

  • To me it seems there's something wrong with labeling someone who doesn't believe in a God an atheist. Why should a person who doesn't believe in a fantasy be labeled? As I recall there was a belief that the world is supported on the back of a giant turtle. Should then every person who does not believe in the existence of that turtle be called an aturtlelist? That whole turtle concept belongs on the believer's back, not on my back. I don't want to go around forever carrying the label aturtleist.

  • Shhhhh, don't tell theists about our mustache fetish. Our head atheist organization, the Illuminati, voted to keep it secret, remember?

  • @mrquinnie429 If I remember correctly the vote was unanimous. We must not let the elders know about this slip up

  • Well the part about the mustaches is entirely true

  • Anatomy of an Atheist: A brain that works properly.

  • @CrazyToastie

    Really? lol.

So, how does an "atheist" deal with anger and hate or understanding of psychological hurt?

since these are the reason the mind doesn't "work properly".

    ;).

  • As a recovering penecostal. Recovering as an agnostic. Dead on!

  • atheism is so smart, it totally explains how we were created, oh wait it doesn't, people, we need to start at the basics, a being beyong anything we can completely comprehend is how earth and all living things were created, and people who refuse to believe that were probably held back by their parents from going to church with freinds at a young age, or just trying to believe in anything out of their relatives beliefs, so thing deep down all of you who are athiests, before it is too late!

  • @mountaindewed101 I see you skipped science class? Never knew about the real story of Earth creation, never heard of the Big Bang and the proofs supporting it?

  • @bengacris oh yes it totally makes sense we are all just evolved space dust, well i see you are very smart, that makes way more sense then an advanced being creating us in his image. very reasonable thinking fuckwad!

  • @mountaindewed101 it actually make more sense than the version where 2 humans created from clay ate an apple in a tree where a talking snake was living, also that a virgin woman got pregnant of Jesus that then died and ressurected as a zombie to go fly towards the sky LOL

  • @mountaindewed101 Atheism doesn't have to explain how we were created. Atheism is only the rejection of belief in god(s), nothing more. And the big bang theory only explains WHAT happened, not HOW it happened. The fact that science doesn't have an answer yet for every question about the universe, doesn't mean that god can automatically be shoehorned in there without evidence. That's called the god of the gaps fallacy, look it up.

  • @theflush u don,t have to be a dick about my religeon, god is not just an asumption, i believe in him because, when i pray to him he rewards me and i believe that he will forgive people not of the christian faith and when he does you will see.

  • @mountaindewed101 Please show where I was a dick about your religion.

  • @mountaindewed101 Christianity doesn't explain how we got here either, you pompous, bigoted, equality-hating, closed-minded, waste of a human life. It merely presents an extremely unlikely situation based on nothing but metaphorical stories. Don't shove your imbecility down our throats. Have a nice day.

  • ShockofGod's logic at first, lol

  • It is so sad that most religious people are too stupid to understand people like Dave.....Religion is bullshit

  • @Mirrodin82 Why is every other comment on an atheist video someone spouting stereotypes about believers?..... closed mindedness is bullshit.

  • @supersonicsaiyan1 I am not spouting stereotypes - I am spouting facts. And closed mindedness indeed is a bullshit. Note how I said most religious people not all of them.

  • @Mirrodin82 Ok. Sorry I took it wrong.

  • this is awesome

  • I *do* love sin, as I know God will forgive all. /sarcasm

  • My name is also Dave, and i'm glad to see there are at least SOME people like this on YouTube... Faith in humanity +1... Only 9999996526 to go.

  • Mmmm... mustaches :)... fake or real ones, they're all the same to me ;)

  • I never believed in witchcraft but I am into some sick mustache fetishes... Fetishi, fetishes

  • I <3 Sin.

  • I was about to rage, then I saw the end of the video :]

    Really accurate, thanks :P

  • mustache fetish. that is all I got from this video.

  • I bet he still has a mustache fetish.

  • wait, really?

How could anyone not see this as sarcasm from the get-go?

  • Poe's law much?

  • I love classical music ROFL!!!

  • Glad I looked at the ratings before commenting. I almost went for the jugular. (To quote a certain Texan dipshit) Oops!!
