hello would like to know which level you are using. I want to buy a mandolin bluegrass folk harrison mark, and I wonder if that mark is good. on the other hand I have knowledge on guitar, I wonder if similar use. taking into account the chords scales.

@loganpro187 to answer your question the mandolin is tuned in 5ths up. or 7 frets down. eadg from bottom to top rather than the ebgdae of a guitar. four pairs. the scales actually are easier to reach but some of the chords are a stretch. my crooked pinkie doesn't limit me much on the guitar but i have to fake my way around some of the chords on the mandolin for the stretch and the limited space on the fret board. i got a rogue a body on line for cheap. it was an awesome investment for the price.
