I love this. Yeah, I'm about 75-80% raw these days. And a couple of weeks ago I had so much energy I felt like I needed to do a 100 mile bike ride myself. Lemon ginger blasts all the time. Can't handle much jabenero though, nightshades are not good for some people. We'll see if my tolerance increases much over time, I can only handle like 1/4 of one in a three cup blast. Awesome again.
It's so cute to see a man his age have such a youthful spirit and so excited to meet you. I know from personal experience that meeting you (and you teaching me how to hug a person properly) is so invigorating and inspiring, so I know how this guy is feeling. :)

I am a juicer with fantastic results. My question; is anyone batch preparing the raw juice items before juicing time? This would seem to expedite the juicing process so that you could juice as you consume it and avoid juice storage, even for a few hours. For example clean and peel as required in batch. Now it should take 5-min to juice and 10-min to clean-up. Drink the juice during clean-up.
Ok i think ome people should know ..if your laptop only has one speaker then you will never be able to hear this ..unless you get head phones and windows is able to give you stereo and you pan it to the left but if your laptop only has one speaker it may not work....but try it with headphones for laptops with one speaker if you still cant hear it it is because the programe you have may not be st up to deal with stereo.but try headphones...by the way Dan laptops with one speaker will not hear it
@SSMFK420 There's a million books and dvds out there with gourmet recipes. Actually they do not help people stay raw, they keep them in a grey area that eventually leads backed to cooked and rich foods they're used to
Sorry but technical question for everyone the sound on Dan's videos on youtube and on his site has gone...all other youtube vids are fine for me i have updated adobe flash player checked all my sound device settings ,volume mixers etc and youtube settings and since it is on Dan's site too i am puzzled...i have even tried watching with browsing google chrome rather than firefox ...is anyone else experiencing this? Any Ideas?
@lalealynn Yes, it's Dan's camera. All of his videos are only panned to the left side, his right channel isn't coming through. Don't go crazy, it's not you :P I was fiddling around with my speakers for ten minutes before I realized it was just Dan's videos haha.
I just saw that the sound is "gone". Only the left speaker works from Dan's videos. So go into your sound mixer and make sure your volume is panned to the left and not only the right. If it's only on the right you won't get any sound, the right channel from his vids isn't coming through. Let me know if you need any more help.

@crizpy9119 tried this and still no joy the best i can get is white noise barely audible when it is panned to the left i am uncertain why and it is only the last week or so of Dan's vids ...i don't really know why the sound is not audible when i panned it to the ;left as you said ...oh well..thats that i guess lol :-) I have tried every balance in the mixer but no joy ..but thank you anyway...glad its nothing on my end though phew! Lol ...Pity though ...but thanks again:-)
I became a vegetarian about a year ago. However, I have been eating poorly. I need to lose a decent amount of weight. I am interested in going raw and doing things the "right" way. I your video with Ali (sp?) who did the 100 day cleanse. I'd like to do that to jump start things and get a decent amount of weight off. Here's my question:
Nuts are obviously fatty. How can I get protein if I'm avoiding them during the cleanse and eating them in moderation afterward?

What if there was a movement of raw food cross country bikers who just went from town to town back and fourth across the country having meet and greets and raising money for charitible causes- like a motorcycle gang only on regular bikes, eating raw whole foods and raising money for charitable purposes- and living life, living day to day ,camping,doing yoga,meet and greets- is something like this possible? If so sign me up!
@videogirmit1 Depends what "normal food is" - do you mean lightly cooked organic veggies one day and green juice the next? Or do you mean Lemon Ginger Blast on Thursday and In-and-Out Burgers on Friday? Radical changes on a day to day basis would, I think, be hard on your body...would F-up your blood sugar, stress your pancreas and intestines.
@videogirmit1 If you're just starting out on raw (I am) you'll find that the more raw & juicing you do, the less you even WANT to eat your old "normal food" favorites. Your body will give you pretty clear feedback when you, for example, have a plate of pasta. Even if it's great organic pasta, you'll be thinking as you eat it and especially afterwards "I shoulda had a Lemon Ginger Blast!" It just won't taste as good as it used to because your sense of taste re-calibrates the healthier you eat.
@videogirmit1 Here's a thought. Try this on a transition diet. Only eat cooked food if it is still hot (cooked once). That rules out a ton of stuff but still lets you eat high nutrient hot food. Breads, sugar, soda, tinned food, pasta and virtually all processed foods are heated or cooked. You get the drift.
Yeah the raw foods and juices saved me also. I found Dan AFTER i was healed which is not often the case with people but was with me, i could so associate with alot of what Dan says. To the sceptics even if Dan is making everything up and is a charlatan, what he says is actually true anyway so you'd be wise to listen. I'm not a charlatan etc i suffered from 10+ years of depression and anxiety and alcoholism. Raw foods and juices is the ONLY way to be healed imo.

@videogirmit1 Depends what "normal food is" - do you mean lightly cooked organic veggies one day and green juice the next? Or do you mean Lemon Ginger Blast on Thursday and In-and-Out Burgers on Friday? Radical changes on a day to day basis would, I think, be hard on your body...would F-up your blood sugar, stress your pancreas and intestines.

@videogirmit1 If you're just starting out on raw (I am) you'll find that the more raw & juicing you do, the less you even WANT to eat your old "normal food" favorites. Your body will give you pretty clear feedback when you, for example, have a plate of pasta. Even if it's great organic pasta, you'll be thinking as you eat it and especially afterwards "I shoulda had a Lemon Ginger Blast!" It just won't taste as good as it used to because your sense of taste re-calibrates the healthier you eat.

@videogirmit1 Here's a thought. Try this on a transition diet. Only eat cooked food if it is still hot (cooked once). That rules out a ton of stuff but still lets you eat high nutrient hot food. Breads, sugar, soda, tinned food, pasta and virtually all processed foods are heated or cooked. You get the drift.

Yeah the raw foods and juices saved me also. I found Dan AFTER i was healed which is not often the case with people but was with me, i could so associate with alot of what Dan says. To the sceptics even if Dan is making everything up and is a charlatan, what he says is actually true anyway so you'd be wise to listen. I'm not a charlatan etc i suffered from 10+ years of depression and anxiety and alcoholism. Raw foods and juices is the ONLY way to be healed imo.

I think the mic on your flip cam is blown, the distortion sounds like it's chewing my speakers up. It's not on any other vids on here, just the last few of yours. If you replace it check out an old 7.0 MP Cybershot, you can't beat the steady video quality and they're cheap. Best camera ever.
