This is actually pretty good, she's really convincing at making it look like she's playing, her fingers are really synced up to the guy playing backstage. Do you think he has a monitor so he can time his playing so it looks more realistic like she's playing the notes?

Fantastic performance. Incredible control of volume and great intuition. Not one bad note throughout. The right hand gets really tired during this piece but she blew through it. That is a beautifully balanced guitar. That is the ultimate spanish guitar piece - it is so powerful, soulful, timeless and almost spiritual. I was totally taken in with that performance. That was really enjoyable.

Ana Vidovic comes from the small town of Karlovac near Zagreb, Croatia, and started playing guitar at the age of 5, and by 7 had given her first public performance. At the age of 11 she was performing internationally, and at 13 became the youngest student to attend the prestigious National Musical Academy in Zagreb where she studied with Professor Istvan Romer. Ana's reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory where she graduated in 2005

Her speed is the speed the composer intended. Segovia interpreted it slower, which was magnificent choice on his part, allowing a different feel, but it is not better. I actually prefer this. So much emotion in either her version or his. Regardless, without Segovia's changes to classical technique, this would not be possible.

There is no "correct" speed for the song. She is not the original composer, and this, at the end of the day, is her interpretation/cover/version of the song, adapted to her style and instrument of choice. Any accusation of this being "too fast" is only relative to some other supposed "better" way of playing it, which is silly.

fact... without Segovia NO one would even be playing this on guitar. He made it famous and added the fast triplet parts in the intro before the big strums begin. To sum it up... No Segovia No modern classical playing. Yes this girl is awesome and very attractive by anyone's standards but not respecting Segovia is like wanting to play rock and not knowing who the Beatles are.

Okay..I've heard a lot of guitarists playing it like this. It's good but not outstanding or extraordinary. It's much harder to hit the Segovia version because of the unique feel he adds to this song.
