  • bum tikke bum.. meget uinponerende

  • My right hand is aggressively occupied right now. What should I try my worn out left?

  • Really nice techniques... my live drumming on Maschine is pretty weak, so I'm gonna adopt your method and see how it works out!

  • Sick man, that really helped, thank you.

  • @nargoon1 You`re welcome! A follow up for drum playing is coming soon.

  • At 9 minutes, when you press play, is that just a loop?

  • @ShahMahiUddin Exactly, it's just a prepared loop in another group.

  • Bro your videos really cool, been practising, but how do you get the loop at the end, to keep playing as u drum, did u just put a loop in one of the pads?

  • Great skillz man !!

Thank you, I hope there will be a other video like this one from you soon.

    Peace

  • he wollte fragen wo hast du dein MASCHINE denn gekauft?

  • did he just say hes never heard of mpc??? at 1.30

  • @ShahMahiUddin haha, you`re right, I`m really saying that. What I actually meant is I never HAD a mpc, so I don`t know if the mapping on the mpc is similar to Maschine.

  • @Lichtathlet lool :)...its all good, ur still dope on that maschine...i learned a few tricks. thanks

  • bist du deutscher? also, klingt so....nichts für ungut....

;D also, ernsthaft...

  • Sure you have, but check out Jeremy Ellis's MPC/Maschine Lessons and get that left hand in the flow. Nice video.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • Great video, but I'm curious if perhaps this mapping under-uses the left hand. I'm pretty new to Maschine, but I've been experimenting with mapping the basic kit (snare, bass, closed hi-hat) with redundancies. For example, I map the bass drum to pads 2 & 3, snare to 6 & 7, and hi-hat to 5 & 8. This allows me to play fluid, even 32nds without crossing my hands. Try it out and let me know what you think!

  • video starts at 2:30....

  • Thx man, very nice. may be u inspired me to practice my own "skillz"

  • realy nice man...:-)

  • nice one!

  • Hey man, nice tutorial - you broke it down real simple. :)

Out of interest, how long have you been playing drums on Maschine and/or MPC - and did you ever play (real) drums before then?

  • @1980citizen thanks bro, I'm glad you like it. I used to play drums for about 3 years. I play drums on maschine for about 1 year and with this technique around 6 months.

  • This is really informative, the only thing that let it down was the metronome killing the groove at the end. :)

Which kit were you using to demo? I'm a big fan of the vinyl kits myself.

  • @fraxyl As far as I remember it was one from the Abbey Roads 70s Drum Kits for Maschine... The Vintage Kit I guess...

  • @Lichtathlet oh, cool. thanks! :D

  • Great job, man... very informative.

  • skills!
