@paddle2fun It kind of depends on what you want to paddle and if you have a preference in outfitting. Whilst the Cross Linked plastic is stronger it's almost impossible to repair if you do break it whereas the Super Linear plastic may be heavier but can be welded. However how often will your Playboat come into some serious contact with rocks?
to answer andwerver's question, you sit in it with your legs bent, you can neel in it so your sitting your legs but to do that you need to modifie the kayak and you need to be pro to paddle like that
This video was put together very well. The combination of the song & the clips y'all chose to put in here make it actually look FUN, as opposed to a lot of other kayaking vids that just make kayaking appear intense & scary. Not that intense & scary is bad, it was just a good choice to make the Fun video a fun video.

They are using the best paddles I ever owned, the fancy bright green ones.
They are from Select Paddles, they rock. Awesome, strong and smooth.
