I will admit the Wii version is not a sit-and-play game. The controls take some getting used to, but it only takes a minute. And the Wii version has 10 new monsters.

I use the nunchuck for movement, so it isn't that bad.

I have only unlocked 1 monster so far, Leon the Lion.

Exactly.

You will unlock more if you keep up. And remember, if you alternate Monsters you will increase the likelihood of finding new ones. Plus, each monster (well most of them) has special powers. (e.g. aquatic characters can hit leaky pipes and gain 500 points, some characters can eat thing other can't etc.)
