And Leopard Geckos are only mainly supposed to feed on insects-- the "calcium in the bones is good for them" is a bullshit explanation-- you're supposed to put a bowl of vitamin/calcium dust in the cage for them and they take it as they please.

A mouse every few months will not hurt a lizard it's when people feed them weekly that causes problems.BTW leaving a dish out isn't a good way to ensure the gecko gets calcium, dusting the crickets does though.

your not supposed to feed geckos anything bigger than 90% of size of the geckos head.

that mouse is way to big for the gecko to swallow safely. also you shouldn't feed them grown hairy mice because the mouse can bite and injure the gecko (rodents can bite very very hard).

pinkies are ok because the cant bite. Also multiple smaller food items is better, safer, and more nutritious than one big food item. geckos should never eat things larger than 90% of the size of their head .
