Making anti-U.S. sentiment is not the objective of candlelight rallies held by Koreans. Koreans just want to eat the same beef as Japanese and American people consume.
Now the government perverts the truth saying that there must be political string-pulling behind protesters attending candlelight rallies.
How can we trust those kinds of government and media?
It's natural that human beings should protest possible danger of food, clothing and shelter, the most fundamental things, and should want renegotiation for the right to live.
Finally, the Korean government started to put an advertisement in right-wing newspapers saying 'Americans eat the same beef as Koreans consume.' and 'There has been no case of BSE occurred due to U.S. beef from cattle for 10 years.'
During the Roh Moo-hyun administration, those principal media pointed out the danger of possible infection of BSE originated from U.S. beef. Though, they changed their attitude all of a sudden.
However, the Korean government decided to import U.S beef from cattle of all ages, that is, cattle aged more than 30 months which is not consumed in the U.S. as well as SRM parts, and has continuously lied to the public saying 'Eating T-bone steak made of cattle infected with BSE is not dangerous.' or 'Eating beef from cattle infected with BSE is safe, whether it is raw beef or cooked one.'. (* Japan just imports beef aged 20 months or younger without SRM parts.)
Due to Korean food culture such as eating soup by boiling bone deeply or eating internal organs, it's natural that Koreans care about parts of the cow that are the so-called Specified Risk Materials (SRM) and age of cattle more and more.
Koreans of various ages and from all walks of life are participating in candlelight rallies. However, the Korean government and principal media instigated by the government are perverting the truth and suppressing the public. Koreans just want boneless meat from cattle aged 30 months or younger, which is less exposed to inflection of BSE. All the patients who were infected with BSE have the MM gene. While about 40% of human beings have this kind of gene, 92% of Koreans and Japanese have it.
Informative commentary but PLEASE choose some appropriate music.

Whats the point of protesting..
We the people of Pakistan
have given them air bases
inside Pakistan....
They are flying combat missions from these
airbases to kill left and right...
the proper thing would be to
shut down these air bases.....
