  • I'm an old retired ATSF Locomotive Engineer. I remember these old ALCOs, they were very powerful. 1949 to 1950 I use to operate the old Baldwin 2-6-2, 4-8-4 and for 1 month the Baldwin 4-8-8-4. Great video of an old memory and I love your layout :-)

  • @MrCraig1930

Wow thats amazing! Wish I could have seen these engines operate. Esp the 4-12-2. I haven't found many videos of this engine. Thank you very much and I'm glad it brings back good memories for you :-)

However, I cant take any credit for the layout. Its a club I belong to called South Bay Historical Railroad Society (SBHRS). Type that into google to check out the website :-)

  • Any of you recognize the exhaust sound is from an LNER A4? Any of you know what an LNER A4 is?

  • Yes, I know what a LNER A4 is. In fact, I would get one if I could. I like those engines.

The sound was made from the company of MTH. Who knows what sound they used to make it. Presumably, they made it themselves using software. I don't think it came from any certain locomotive.

  • better not have sharp corners

  • Nope. Not on that layout. Most curves on the club layout are around 53".

  • how much was it

  • I bought mine from my local model train store that sells everything at 20% off. When I got done with tax, it was $513

  • nice job

  • Awesome! Please post up some more!
