  • Thumbs up if you hope they make a batman beyonds movie sometime

  • APATHY GREED CORRUPTION POWER

    HOPE

  • thumbs up for batman beyond the movie staring christian bale as OLD bruce WAyne

  • @itsZoHaNTV Screw that! Michael Keaton should be the one to play old bruce wayne.

  • :04 Is that the Renraku Arcology from Shadowrun?

  • terry has dated dand for 15 year and decides to tie the knot after he finds out bruce is his father

  • excellent open

  • Thank you The HUB, for playing reruns of this and BTAS. Otherwise, I'd have missed these two gems.

  • @FlyingFocs i'm uploading episodes right now

  • I don't care if people Thumbs me down, cuss at me, or yell at me. The new batman shows SUCK! THis batman series and the 90's series were epic! They have everything you need a good story, good voice acting, and good looks. I give this series an A+++

  • @jckspacy agreed no one could possibly give u a thumbs down

  • @123multitaskerclone Thanks for the support. :)

  • @jckspacy no problem

  • As an adult I only now realize how dark this cartoon is.. there's no way they'd ever get away with shit like this today on CN

  • @Quartzzzz They can on the HUB though,as they play it there.

  • @Quartzzzz but then again, most of the stuff on channels like cartoon are live action and suckish

  • @RadgarEleding Are you kidding me? Adventure Time? Flapjack? Chowder? Those are some of the best cartoons I've ever seen and they are very recent.

  • Je vous le dit tout net:cette serie c'est une grande partie de ma jeunesse(quand j'avais 5ou8ans!!)

  • Apathy, Greed, Corruption, Power, Hope, Courage... DANCING.

  • @dexeron Maybe they didn't want to put Lust in there because this is a cartoon for kids and up?

  • batman beyond also known as the violent batman in the original batman he beats up his enemies and sends them to arkham but this batman instead of beating up his opponents and sending them to arkham he kills them all of batman's (bruce wayne) enemies this batman kills them thats why this batman (terry mcginnis) is known as the violent batman

  • @Slamzalid how is it they always return , if they die how can they always come back for revenge

  • in the portuguese version we had Bruce Wayne's voice actor talking during the intro.

"Apathy" he would say, then a bunch of other stuff.

He ended with "Gotham needs The Batman"

  • Too bad we didn't get to see more of Blight.

  • Is this the One where Bruce Wayne is too old and walks with a Caine and Recruits a young kid to continue his reputation! Seems Wayne Enterprises needs some Met-rx & TwinLabs with some Strontium Bone Maker!

  • Honestly, I liked this Batman more. I know Ill get a lot of hate on this but oh well this guy is a beast.

  • I didn't like this version of the show when it came out because the animation looked lazy, as though the animators were cutting corners. The joints of the people were sharp as opposed to being smooth like in the previous Batman series.

  • @DarkReapersGrim That was just the character design style.

  • Im talking about in DC Animated Universe......

Which is why Terry and Matt have black hair, even though their parents were naturally red heads

  • They need to bring this back!

  • Batman the Animated Series & Batman Beyond. Those are the only two Batman shows I acknowledge. Every other Batman Series can die in a fire.

  • back when i was small, batman was always so scary to me. oh man especially that it was on the tv only at the night-time

  • 0:34..... that looks like.... Ben Ten!??!?

  • One of the last great kids tv shows.

  • 0:34 Sexy

  • The HUB IS SHOWING THIS SHOW!!!

I LOVE THEM FOR SHOWING IT!! <3!!!

  • Isn't this a bit violent for a kids cartoon shown in the US? LOL I've seen animes come from Japan that were less violent than this, and they still got heavily edited. But this looks like an unedited VERY VIOLENT American made show!

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 I assume you mean 4Kids tv animes. or some stuff that came in during the early to mid 90's.

Also, Violent? pfft. shielding kids in a bubble of brain melting family friendly programming all the time will only do them more harm than good, despite what soccer moms and politicians might claim.

They need to be exposed to family programming, but also some action, things like this, which are quality cartoons. (with morals mind you- basically, you commit crime, batman gets you)

  • @FlameG102

Yeah, I mean 4kidsTV edits of anime. Batman beyond is way to violent or mature or whatever you want to call it, for 4kidsTV. They never would have even aired Batman Beyond without heavily editing it. Though they seem to leave editing for Japanese anime brought to the US, not American cartoons like Batman Beyond (or other "action" based superhero shows). So it's likely they just wouldn't have aired it, at all, period.

  • 4kids TV is HARDLY a good representation of violence being censored.

Their problem is they take Animes usually aimed for Teenage or older audiences, and try to aim them at young children, whoa re more likely to be watching cartoons saturday mornings. To that end, they americanize- (not localize, AMERICANIZE) them, and heavily censor them. really. Yugioh is probably one of the biggest cases right next to One Piece. Death censored to a more family friendly medium like... "The Shadow Realm"

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 these shows were made for not just kids but for adults as well, Batman TAS won an emmy because it was like that. When TAS was still big their target audience was 10-16 years of age and when BB came out the 16 year old audience never left so they matured it as well. Plus watch the show, theres more to it then violence, there are great life lessons in it that i never noticed when i was 6 watching this. It's really heartwarming and deep. Kids today should watch this stuff more!

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 it wasnt really that voilent. but soccermoms and other people complained that it was and it was canceled

  • This was the last good batman tv series.

  • @onewhoseeks17 also connection to the original batman as well

  • @onewhoseeks17 Some of the villains like Blight were flat out amazing too with lines like "Everything I touch shall wither and die, and lo, I shall be a blight upon the land".

  • @onewhoseeks17 actually batman never really was bad except in the early years when adam west was batman......*shivers*

  • @onewhoseeks17 Then came The Batman and Brave and the bold.....

  • Im just happy that I was born in the mid 90s, where all my nostalgic memories still existed.

  • epic!

  • I fuckin miss the good old days :(

  • when i see all the shitty cartoons on tv nowadays that are trying to push themselves off as anime and anyone who says that they're "good" or that it's "what cartoons are just like now", i'd like to refer them to this and give them a swift kick to the giblets

  • Damn, CyberPunk Batman

    It was fucking sweet.

  • i quite dont get the dancing part...

  • @CrashbrainedMoni It was showing Terry's life and his girlfriend, Dana. This was an awesome series.

  • SPLICERS! GET THE BIG DADDY SUIT OUT!

  • @prisoner109 Every time I see this episode. EVERY SINGLE TIME, that is my first thought. XD

  • OMG THE SPLICERS :D that was that one part that really stoodout for me :)

Thats that one part where everyone trys to be some animals right :)?

  • Why in god's name was this show ever cancelled? It had a ton of potential and that direct-to-DVD movie was absolutely fantastic.

  • @Erden The current on-going comic series is pretty good too.

  • Ohmygosh, I used to loooooove this show when I was a little girl :| I had such odd taste D:

  • 31: yeah that's how I dance in the club also...

  • Best opening ever

  • There's a simple formula in Nerd Universe...Batman+merchandise= AWESOMENESS

  • Haha, "Splicers". That was one of my favorites.

  • hold up hold up, when did this nonsense about Crystal Method doing the theme tune start?

  • Hey everyone, this masterpiece of music wasn't made by Crystal Method, it was made by Kristopher Carter, who won an Emmy Award for composing the music for Batman Beyond, along with Lolita Ritmanis, Shirley Walker & Michael McCuiston.

  • Listen to that fxckin beat.

  • I love how the images on the screen are timed perfectly to the music. Crystal Method did a amazing job when they cranked out this theme!

  • @Godzilla2000X static x is the band that made this theme

  • @graycoyote49 thnx i was about to ask for the band do u know what the songs name is please tell if u do

  • @jashino95naraka "batman beyond theme" thats what i had to type to find the mp3. pm me and i can direct ya to a site where you can DL it for free if you want

  • @graycoyote49 I had read differently. Some article I found gave credit to Crystal Method.

  • i still remember when i was like 3 or 4 years old and i used to watch this and justice league (unlimited) with my mom. too bad my computer is so slow and she doesnt let me download these cartoons so i have to get lucky to find a web site to watch them

  • Second best Batman intro only to TAS.

  • lol this is what I find myself doing now, looking up old cartoons on youtube

  • Bruce Wayne has two sons, there names are Terry and Matt

  • @EarlyGamer matt? i thot the name was damion?

  • @EarlyGamer huh i thought damian was bruce's only son

  • @EarlyGamer what happened to Damian?

  • @EarlyGamer

    Where did Matt come from?

  • @extraleague01 Matt is Terry's younger brother so he is also Bruce's son as Wayne McGinniss DNA was overwritten with Bruce's.

  • @EarlyGamer Who is Bruce's official wife?

  • @pacman5698 Bruce has no wife watch the show and learn how he had kids.

  • @EarlyGamer Uhh... Damian Wayne? Or is this like a joke or something that I'm not getting.

  • @EarlyGamer thats just in the Justice League episode. the writers anounced that Terry and his younger brother Matt arnt going to be his kids in the New Batman Beyond comics coming in 2 or 3 years. The writers established that it will be Terry McGinnis, but his predecessor will be either Dick Greyson, the first Robin, Nightwing, and the second/current Batman or Damian Wayne, Burce Wayne's real son and the 5th and current Robin. Which ever one ends up being the elderly Batman, it'll still be cool

  • Comment removed

  • @EarlyGamer Don't forget Damien ;)

  • @Dacudo28 Yea, but he does not exist in this universe though :c

  • Bruce Wayne has two sons. There names are Terry and Matt.

  • Thanks for this, i've been wanting to see B.B. again for years

(ever since it disappeared from the Channel Listings never to return : (

Truly the "System Shock II" of Cartoon Series

(Dark / Spooky / Almost Timeless Animation & AWESOME!!).

  • @TSR1989B Actually the Hub shows Batman Beyond repeats almost every weekday at around 3:30 PM EST. That is, if you live in America, or possibly Canada.

  • @falcosnake39 Typical, the one Channel that still shows it & it's the one we Brit's don't get

(we used to have JETIX & Toonami over here, till Toonami went in 2007 followed by

JETIX on the 31st August 2009 that is ) :

  • @falcosnake39 And now they're showing batman the animated seres on weekdays yay

  • Downloaded every ep from torrents

    glad to relive my childhood

  • Batman = new Lion-O too.

  • I remember watching the episode with "inque" and I gotta' say when she started working her way and by working her way I mean working her liquidy body down terry's throught, to me that some how seemed a little Pornographic.

  • when i have kids im buying a whole bunch of tv shows from the 'old days' and showing those to my kids. I grew up watching the crap they show now and about a year ago i got a lab top and started watching tv shows that my mom always talked about a i absolutely love them. SOO MUCH BETTER!!!

  • You just can't beat the classics! So much music from the 70s and 80s is better than this generation's crap!

  • Why isnt this a comic book series before a show

  • The opening theme showed the key names of the New World Order

:O (The All Seeing Eye!) @0:07

  • We need a badass movie of Batman Beyond yep ñ_ñ

  • the show was really cool with awesome themes but it lacked badass villains, don't get me wrong it HAD ALOT of villains but not all of them were all that memorable, like it'd be cool if some reincarnation of ol' Bats super villain came alomg, like Poison Ivy or scarecrow

  • I Remember owning a movie or some season of this...lol today im reliving my early childhood lol i just looked up spiderman cartoons...thumbs up if your a 90's kid

  • @funnydude307 DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! The 90's were awesome man! :D

  • @funnydude307 They sure as hell don't make them like they used to... I remeber watcing this, the Justice League, Jackie Chan Adventrues (don't laugh, to me back then it was an awsome show!), and so many other classic shows that almost no one remembers today.

Now all you see is kids walking around with a white hat with ears on the top, For once I would love to wear BB's outfit and have people ask "Where the hell is that from?"

    Anyone else agree?

  • @Falamee158 i loved jackie chan adventures. i re-watched a few of them on netflix not too long ago hahaha

  • this was when cartoons had balls

  • Batman + Blade Runner = Batman Beyond

  • @unkwonstudios thats probably the best way to describe it

  • Yeah one of the better batman animations in the last decade.

  • First time I saw the trailer for this new cartoon back in the good old cartoon network days I thought it was a movie!

This shit is the REAL Dark Knight!

  • Whoa.........This show rocked, fans also check out Phantom:2040,it's as good as this one & many people say the inspiration for this show was that one!!!!

  • Epic times....

  • OMG this shit kicked ass or what!

  • kids these days? lol this isnt even old, u must be a kid

  • @Soskouy 10 years ago isn't a short time, I was 10 back then, and now I'm 20, big generation difference

  • If anything, this show is less scary than a lot of the new cartoons, the star wars cartoon is a good example of crazy shit being shown to kids.

  • @yomejustacandy i agree, the starwars cartoon is very violent. Its the only cartoon on CN that has balls.

  • for real wtf happened to real cartoons. i carly, victorious and those crappy new cartoon network shows are all a joke. i used to watch adventures of batman, tas, batman beyond, spiderman, super friends, and even the old fox xmen cartoon. im so glad i grew up with those shows. i love watching them to this day. thumbs up if you agree

  • @gearsowarman have you ever thought that the cartoons of today will be the nostalgiac ones for the adults of tommorrow?

  • @whatevers31 Doubt it. The cartoons being shown today don't have any lasting impact. They're just brain-rotting trash made to mimic reality television.

  • @gearsowarman

    same

  • @gearsowarman what about batman the brave and the bold, it kinda brought back the comic book character designs right?

  • @gearsowarman The Hub is showing Batman TAS and Beyond. Disney XD has X-men 90s and Spiderman TAS late at night though. But I totally get what you're saying man.

  • @gearsowarman CN now sucks rats balls, lots of us moved on to manga and anime, they're much more badass

  • @gearsowarman I agree, in all honesty they should after they're done with the new Batman Movies do a Rebot of Batman Beyond... not as a cartoon but as an actual live action movie serise. This is what all animated serise should aspire too instead of favoring the little kids.

On that note I'd be willing to help with a Live Action Short Film based off of this if anyone knows of locations, and how to make the costumes and effects. Don't thumbs up if you agree, but think on this idea for a while.

  • Batman: Creating the first dubstep drop ever @0:34

  • This theme can inspire a mouse to beat the shit out of the devil.

  • Goth Rock. Cool.

  • this was that shit that would make you get up in 6 in the mornin just to watch cartoons man. Those were the days

  • we want the old CN an Fox Kids back

  • memories

  • when i saw the first episode of this it blew my head off.

  • well...Now it's Batman The Brave and The Bold....I miss Batman Beyond :( .....

  • Its sad cuz no matter where you lived if you had cable you had CN and its was great everything star going bad in cartoon when sponge bob was created the shitty cartoons that children see these days are sponge bob´s fault i hate the yellow faggot

  • That Intro was and is fucking epic! one of the best themes of batman!

  • This intro is a work of art.

  • its interesting to see how dark this show actually was when you look back at it when your older

  • Really liked this show.

And remember: He never "killed" anybody, but alot of people died in the show. Just sayin.

  • What happend to all of my shows growing up?

  • @dailyman12 we grew up

  • Nostalgia bomb... I even remember the episode with the splicers... (No pun intended on Bioshock's splicers.)

  • Holy shit... I forgot about this cartoon, mom and I loved to watch this back then LOL!!!

  • I have always thought that marvel animated series were too kid friendly. If they would made like this one, they would be more successful

  • 0:33 is so sexy it makes me laugh

  • GOD my childhood was awesome ! =D

  • Batman beyond comics back in print picks up were return of joker left off first 6 issue out now

  • Terry McGinnis defined Batman "Bad-Assery".

  • well this looks good. only saw 1 ep but ive forgotten

  • 0:32 that guy in the middle always makes me laugh

  • @MaverickXIII LOL suddenly I think it's funny XD

  • They don't make shows as good as this anymore a one he'll of a good intro so epic

  • They just don't make shows like this anymore.

  • I always rocked out to this theme

  • IM THE BATMAN MOTHERFUCKERS!

  • eh, not as good as the batman TAS, a bit too techno, still good though

  • best intro eva.

  • Kids these days would shit their pants if CN reran this.

  • @Firestorm686 Its on The Hub now

  • Comment removed

  • @Firestorm686 and they're shit would shit it's pants if they re-ran the 90's batman cartoon XD

  • @Firestorm686 They play it on the HUB.

  • @Dante95nyc HUB isn't exactly a mainstream network. Most kids aren't even aware of the existence of half the classic shows

  • @wisewarrior7 and its on a $500 million debt so really only 28,000 ppl know about it.

  • @Firestorm686 I know theres a channel that plays this and Spiderman, X-Men, Iron Man, Spiderman Unlimited, and X-Men Evolutions.

But I think it's DIsney and they're on at like 12am

  • @Firestorm686 despite being a marvel junkie, this is one of my all time favourite shows, next to power rangers

  • @Firestorm686 seconded

  • @Firestorm686 Imagine my surprise when I saw each and every DCAU series on DVD.

Best 300 dollars I ever spent.

  • @Knightphall That's a damn good deal !

  • @Firestorm686 they'd cry being all "mommy mommy im scared""....when i have kids imma show em real cartoons. When i was 5 i was watching Batman TAS not spongbob and dora

  • @Firestorm686 They will in 2012 with DC Nation coming to CN next year!!

  • @EricBTXC where you hear this?

  • @BowserisOK CN made a statement with new shows like Green Lantern TAS, Thundercats, How to train your dragon TAS, DC Nation which is a block of DC shows, a new BATMAN TAS, new BEN 10 season and I think theres MORE!!

  • @EricBTXC A Green Lantern animated series?! Seriously?! I never though CN would actually make shows I'd actually want to watch... Did they say when the GL animated series would be released?

  • @00411392 About maybe late 2011 or early 2012, they are also bringing back 90s shows so get ready for the new improved CN

  • Another question, when will they be making a Flash animated series? I'd love to see that.

  • Comment removed

  • @00411392 As soon as the movie comes out in 2012 or 2013
