Ok, injecting some sense here... Pistol could do anything with the ball; he is largely considered the greatest ballhandler in the history of the NBA. This nonsense about did anyone teach him to dribble without looking downward is ignorant trolling. When Pete was young, perhaps 7 or 8, his father Press used to impress others by having his son dribble blindfolded for them. In fact, he does this in one of these clips. Please know what you're talking about.

Although these are great drills & I know having his head down is a ploy to make the defense think you're not watching the plays develop, it's still poor fundamentals to dribble with your head down.

Did anyone ever try to teach him to dribble without staring at the ground the entire time?

@ReggieRhoden Watch a couple of his games or his clips,you will see that in game he didn't stare at the ground.

@elcapitanKING1 Dude, I wasn't trying to criticise him, but thats what he does. I've watched the pistol pete movie and his hi light reel. Im a fan. I actually PRACTICE what he teaches on here.
