Even though this movie got how computers work completely wrong, it's still fucking awesome. Really pisses me off that the new GoldenEye game doesn't replace just Brosnan with Craig, but Bean with some douchebag no one knows. Seriously, Sean Bean IS Alec Trevelyan, no one else can play that role the same way he did.
bullets normally do pass clean through the body unless its a weak gun firing it, the round is not a good 1 or you are wearing kevlar or some other body armour
I agree, he's great. One of my favourite actors by far. He's a very versatile actor as well. Any role he's playing, no matter what type of character he portrays, his performances are always amazing.
Probably my favourite line in the movie. Another good one is when Bean says "Oh please James, spare me the Freud. I might as well ask you if all the vodka martinis ever silence the screams of all the men you've killed. Or if you find forgiveness in the arms of all those willing women; for all the dead ones you've failed to protect.
If Bond didn't have the skills to do the impossible, then I suggest he would commit suicide to let the girl live and fail his mission. That's the alternate ending.
I quite agree. Goldeneye is my second favourite Bond movie next to Goldfinger. Sean Bean would've made a fantastic Bond himself, and if I'm not mistaken he actually auditioned for the role for "The Living Daylights" before Timothy Dalton won it. I've heard that one of the reasons, perhaps the sole reason he wasn't chosen for Bond, was due to his accent. I think Goldeneye was Pierce's best outing as Bond by far. It's a shame that the later Bonds weren't nearly as well-written as this one.
Nooo you skipped over parts with Seann!

The loco pulling the train is in fact a British Rail class 20 diesel disguised as a snowplough and not actually Russian at all.

Bond also did that at the end of License to Kill with Pam Bouvier:
Pam: Well what are you waiting for, get in!
Bond: Yes sir!

"You first. You.....second."
"Lovely girl. Tastes like.....strawberries."
Classic lines. Too bad they took out the scene where Natayla slaps Alec after he kisses her. :D I can only imagine what she said in Russian.

They didn't take it out. The author of this video took that scene out because YT videos are only supposed to be up to 10 minutes.

The "they" was referring to the author.

Sean Bean has all the best lines and sadly Pierce Brosan looks out of his depth. One of the better Bond movies INMHO.
