  • great job i love too fly cant wait to get mine going. john

  • LOVE IT... again ;-) How high ??

  • Hi FVP2MACAM,

    I'm building a FPV-Funjet in the moment.

I would like to know how heavy your funjet is?!

I'm not sure whether I should put the BOB 700mW Transmitter in there or just a small 5.8 GHz 200mW system I got.

Nice video of course! Thanks for sharing.

  • @flyer8795 hi I've to check weight I don't remember it, it's just funjet with stock motor and 500 mw system 900mhz.... If it was for me i'll don't put 5.8 ghz in 200 mw on a funjet... With this plane you are far of you in a few seconds with the 200 mw and more in 5.8ghz, I think the result should not be ok...

  • What is OSD?

  • @paraglide01 on screen display. tells the pilot telemetry data and stuff like that..

  • osd sux .. when you run out of power your vid is gone .. ,, even with a seperate battery to it // happened to me today .. 1.7 miles near me .. couldnt find it .. 800 bux gone lol .. good flight

  • I want ride it !!!

  • thanks

  • what size motor is in the funjet?

  • @15jwilli 400w it's the Himax 2825-2700 on this one

  • Oops! I mean, So beautiful and so excited. Lol. Sorry about my earlier post. I shouldn't have put Sad in there. Lol :P

  • @dmana3172 dont worry ! thanks

  • That sky is so beautiful! And so sad!

  • thums up if you want to ride it

  • Dude, that was outstanding as fuck. Even the finish was class. Well done.

  • What antennas are you using here!? Your video doesn't drop out at all! Also, what radio/UHF are you using to control your RC model? Thanks!

  • @schraut5 hi, it was stock antena from hobby wireless ( 3db ) there are some litle troubles but I cut while editing the video...

  • amazing!

    without osd! hehe, respect!

  • i want to fpv with an airplane that can go up to 30 mile range

  • fucking awsome just awsome pardon my languege but just freakin awsome with awsome music love this song from cold play

  • @FVP2MACAM Were you using any UHF signal boosters, ie. EzUHF, Thomas Scherrer LRS, DragonLink, etc?

  • What FPV system you using? Funjet is kinda small to carry much weight... I noticed you were flying pretty fast... Good video, very ballsy to fly blind like that...

  • 2:01 UFO

  • What altitude was that?

  • gotta love this video... and clocks :D

  • Wow, you're up there with real air traffic!

  • what flight times? what battery? Gotta love the fun jet. I have 2

  • what flight times? what battery?

  • The world is awesome...

  • Fantastic ! there is not other word for this ! It is Magic !

  • Great flight and video, you have inspired me to buy a turbine powered funjet and make a smilar video....checkout my quadrocopter videos

  • this is awesome dude, thanks for that!!!

  • That is so cool ! What kind if money do you have to put into a system like that ?

  • man, I would love to buy drugs with that thing. money goes into the plane, plane goes a mile or 2. drugs go into plane. plane comes back home :)

  • 6:50 - 7:10

    god thats beautiful

  • subbed deu to awesomeness. very cool keep up the great work!!!!

can you pls tell me if i can do this with a helicopter? i got a trex 450

  • subed deu to awesomeness. very cool keep up the great work!!!!

  • FVP2MACAM you have some serious cahones my man great video

  • WOW,WOW,WOW.GREAT JOB FLYING.THIS WAS DA BEST BY FAR.WOW.

  • Best FPV video ever. Great Job. Is it and electric airplane? And how much was FPV?

  • You posted this video late 2008 and the video quality compares favorably to systems today. I'm not sure if that is a testament to your original setup or how slowly FPV tech has progressed. ;) At least it has gotten cheaper I suppose. Are you still doing FPV?

  • Amazing!!! I think I speak for a lot of people when I ask you kindly write a detailed list that specifially tells us your setup, price, where you got it, etc. Great vieo and plaese consider this comment!!!

  • @jwjwjwjwjwjwjwjjwjwj Dont know if you read any of the early posts after this video was put on YouTube, but most of your questions are answered in the early posts. Happy reading.

  • @rufenit1 thanx for pointing that out

  • 900mhz 500mw

  • @FVP2MACAM

just amazing! It's impossible to discribe the feelings when flying like this. I hope to God that I might flying this way one day. (I am busy with my easystar to begin fpv) also 900mhz but 1.5W tx. do you have a patch antenna? and do you think I will need one with the 1.5W?

  • @kalliber5 If you are going to do all your flying in front of you (recommended) then get a patch antenna... I have an 8dbi patch mounted on a 6 foot tall collapsible tripod with the patch angled at 45 degrees up... I am running a 900mhz 500mw video tx and I can fly so far away that I will lose RC signal long before my FPV system even thinks about cuttin out... I'm using a 2.4ghz RC system. So far I am getting at least 1/4 mile range on the RC system & that's in the city. So yeah get a patch...

  • Very nice ! which video gear were you using (tx/rx) ?"

  • Heh.. When you're there, at the sunset, You want to get higher and higher!

  • great flying

  • Best landing :)

  • I did it without OSD too. ;)

  • the flight looks slower when you went above the clouds

  • how can 3 people dislike? That must be a mistake :P Great video.

  • OMG,.. over the clouds,... without OSD

i would be afraid to loose my model in the clouds,..

    *****

  • you got really high there

  • who had the balls to press the dislike button ????jesus!!...

  • Man that was better than Flight Simulator X

  • i got a funjet and is yours all stock other than the battery and reciever

  • do you know somebody who does this with a miniature chopper? I mean controll the chopper over build in camera? :) by the way AWESOME VIDEO realy sooo nice

  • What a beautiful sight good job man

  • looking at 8:33 till end of video.. look like two person is sitting on the chair.. I bet one is the pilot, with goggle with OSD and the other is a spotter or co-pilot. one one flyer and the other looking at fpV display.. great video anyway.. just wonder how you guys spot the plane at high level above the cloud

  • there are other forms of gps tracking that are not OSD...but I don't know if such was used. I don't see how a tiny plane could not be lost without some sort of tracking device but????

  • What's your average flight time with this plane?

  • which funjet is this? the skyartec, or the multiplex?

  • @charpsteve36 multiplex

  • about 4,000 ft

  • total respect dude this is the best video i have seen with great music aswell keep up the great work cant wait till i git my fpv setup .. i think ill be watching this video a few time as i actuly feel like im there with you

  • taking rc to a new level!!! inspiring is YOU!!!!!!!

  • taking rc to a new level!!!

  • I have been a pilot for 40 years and flying RC for 35 years and watching your videos is so inspiring. I have a renewed interest in what appears to be a fantastic appendix to the Radio Control Flying arena. You truely have a great following and I congratulate you on you work (hobby). I have done some serious cloud busting over the years, but this is really COOOOOOOOOLLLLL!!! Keep posting you vids....

  • Breathtaking! My favorite RC video out there! Just one question, how did you know where you were going and not loose the plane?

  • omfg i never new ssuch thing existed, but im affraid it will cost too much

  • were you made this video?

  • weve entered a new era of rc flying... folks like me who cant get legally fly due to eye issues, can now do so...

  • I just want to cry... That is the best i have ever seen... You da man. Now im gonna try it...

  • Okay, you three chumps who didn't like this, stand up and identify yourselves!

  • what tx did u use??? did u do any mod?

  • Great video! What are you using for a transmitter and ground patch equipment?

  • @CrazyHeliDude Hi, 900mhz transmitter from Hobby Wireless and stock antena

receiver at 10cm from the ground only and on the plane as far as possible from radio receiver...

  • VFR on top.. Nicely done...

  • I think this is the best fpv video out there, nobody ever flew over the clouds without osd on his rc plane! Man I respect you^^

  • @FlyingEye1000 thanks !!

  • beautiful!

  • the motor is stock?

  • @cosminx2003 motor himax HA2825-2700

  • how high

  • @420choky I think 500m at least , the clouds are very low....

  • Does anyone know what camera was used in this video?

  • @sshukri0 Hi , it's the KX171 on this funjet cause it's a small camera and it's interresting with the funjet not to have a big camera for the speed,...

  • Its waterproof no?

  • @TheRafield no but there is no water in these clouds, only some humidity but my equipement is still working now.

  • @sshukri0 KX171

  • @sshukri0 it looks to me like a gopro hd set for 960p...I could be wrong but this is what mine looks like at that setting. the gopro is a truly awesome camera and fairly recent upgrade to firmware makes it usable for fpv. I bought mine for street luging...but NOW I'm thinkin' fpv!

Thanks for the video. I would have synced it to Armageddon's 'Siver tightrope as I am burnt on Coldplay...but whatever :D Truly awesome video.

  • next time leave the original audio to hear the motor and the wind and all that!

  • Comment removed

  • THAT WAS TOTALLY AWSOME

  • WOW you must be a flying ace i lost all sence of direction once you went through the clouds i think you could do with asking santa for a gps tracker for it or if like me a small compass out of the cracker would have to do LOL Brilliant flying

  • Awsome view!!! What was the range of your transmitter&reciever?

  • @MrGladiator15 1500FT i have one

  • That was a work of art actually!

  • ufo at 2:08 lol

  • Sick... :P

  • What funjet did you use?

  • @Fuchssi987 hi the first white funjet in a few weeks, when I'll have a litle more time I'll try the funjet ultra with same vidéo setup ...

  • fucking outstanding!!!! You only see this from a real aircraft!... nice job! I'm surprised you didnt lose your model?

  • @vexviper thanks, for me it's the same !!! I was surprised I didn't lose it !!!

It was a litle bit crazy but it was beautiful !

  • can somebody tells me the name of the song?

  • @kolibaman112 clocks coolplay

  • @kolibaman112 i gloat at your intellect.

  • what plane is it?

    and how is it fly?

  • GREAT VID ! but how can you know how to come back home ?¿? hehe really hard to return with no home reference only the sun !! a question ... what were those lights over the cluds in the distance ?? it was a city ? great vid & great muzzik

  • Three people must have made a mistake. This is an amazing vid even if one is not into rc planes. Do you know how high the plane was.

  • absolutley awesome! loved every minute!

  • How do you ever know where you are when you're above the clouds??? If I try, i loose 'em!

  • BEAUTIFULL!

  • the tiny brave funjet... ha! never thougt that it will fly so high. awesome vid!

  • its just beutiful !

  • 50,000 views! Wow. It was worth my view. Great video, good work.

  • i luv how he goes straight up and he straightens out and suddenly hes above the clouds, great vid i would never do this with out osd

  • totally cooooooooooooooooool !

  • This is beautiful.... it makes me go outside and just.......live

  • Takes guts to fly above the clouds with no "go home" arrow! Good stuff.

  • its incredibe!

  • how do u find your way back?

  • what sort of video tx/rx and ground setup are you using?

  • @EasternMerchant on this funjet it's a full system from range video 900 mghz and 500 mw

  • this is so.... wonderfull

  • man thats the craziest thing ive ever seen, excellent vid my man :-)

  • @dotster35 thanks !!

  • This is just amazing... very very nice

  • Great vid. Took some nerve but I know what you mean when you broke through the cloud layer all over red rover. It's time to stay and take it all in.

  • just impressive...

  • dude how do you see where your going thats so insanely high up do you know how high that is id say atleast like 7000 feet?

  • very nice video though i would laugh if a plane flew into it lol

  • Today I maiden my own Easyjet FPV. Hope it's as successful.

All through the video I was thinking "how do you know that you're still overhead?"

    Happy flying.

  • oh sh== its a FAA lol luvin vid

  • oh shi chemtrails on a cloudy day nice vid

  • Check out this amazing vid of FPV easystar in Wales go to youtube etc watch?v=b5BWAMRKSs8

  • nice!

  • epic video, its so beautiful, iv wanted to fly one of my models that high or one day fly a small single engine cessna or summit

  • Simply the most impressive I've ever seen...

    Great !

  • howmuch range do you have with both the radio and the cam?

  • Very Cool...I gotta have one of these.

  • how do you know your position above the clouds?

  • Hi, I don't know very precise.... Sometimes I hear the motor and then estimate the way to choose but it was a litle risked, it was so beautiful to see on my google that I lose the good sense !

  • just wondering, do you have any copyright problems with this song?

  • Haha, you dont!

  • ein echt sehr schönes viedeo mein vollen respekt an den rc Piloten ein echt hamma geiles viedeo über den wolken echt geil

  • Cool video and all, but watch out for general aviation planes. Even a bird can take one down if hit at 200 kts.

  • Yes, you're right but at this altitude you can't meet a real plane.... I was at maximum 500m high... It was the clouds who are down on this day.

  • @FVP2MACAM Ah ok, I see it now. Still a great video!

  • That is awsome with the look over the clouds and the music perfect!

  • simply awesome. I have no idea how you tell where u were without OSD.

could you still hear the motor ??

  • Thanx allot man!! That brought a tear to my eye!! That was just amasing!!.....Think Im gonna go get me a FPV system now:D

  • The cheap route is a ready to fly funjet or easystar with the ebay 900 mhz camera and receiver...might be able to go above the clouds but you'll have to be overhead....around 200 bucks...you'll want to go further after that :-)

  • this seems higher than what a human would survive if they were dropped and landed on their head... and severed their neck... and didn't survive.., now while you people are attempting to decipher what I'm truly attempting to communicate I wil be robbing you guys' houses

  • Hello man Go to the doctor as soon as possible !!!

  • Hey I am [in no way] a therapist! and I say that i am perfectly mentally healthy

unless thats not what you meant by doctor.

but regardless of my sanity i say that this is SUPA FLY

    (i made a pun :D )

  • Great flying! I don't know at which altitude you went, but it seemed pretty high!! I don't think I would have been able to bring the plane back...

  • WOW! Thank you man....so impressive.

For me, the best fpv video that i've ever seen.Exactly the kind of flies i would like to do.

    Merci

  • insane

  • this is one of the coolest things i've ever seen!

  • @jekuh123456 I totally agree with you, my friend! 5*

  • Well, learning curve on a funjet is somewhat high. You would first need to spend some good amount of time with a trainer followed by an aileron plane of some sort. Then move to the funjet, maybe. The electronics are readily available so mostly it's your flying skill that must be developed.

  • yes it's beter to start with a quite plane but the funjet is prety even if you fly slowly and it's very stable...

  • Very, very cool video. Can you estimate what the learning curve to get into this sort of thing is for someone with no prior knowledge of electronics? This really makes me want to go flying.

  • wow thats what I was looking for, good idea.

  • is this live feed to goggles or a screen? if not how the hell do you know where you are going!? lol nice flying, amazing views

  • Fantastic!! Absolutely Awesome!

  • Thanks

  • Fantastic - what radio were you using to control the jet?

  • @Zoomer1973 Futaba FF9 with rp149 PCM dual conversion receiver in 35 mhz...., now I have a futaba T14 in 2.4 ghz,

  • @FVP2MACAM

2,4 ghz = bad bad range...

35 mhz pcm = verry longe range!
