i think kenny is just like a human really i mean just because he is an animal and has severe physical and mental limitations does not mean that he is different. would you treat a human with the same problems likle kenny. all that keny wants is to be loved and cared for is that to much to ask

To all those saying bad things about this magnificent animal, would you say those same things about a child with Down Syndrome? There is no difference with the exception that this beautiful tiger is the creation of greedy idiot humans that probably would procreate with their own immediate family if it would benefit them! (some of them probably already have just because they could!)

Kenny died in 2008. He was seriously inbred and that is why is face looks like that. His nose was too short to allow him to breath properly and his mouth was deformed so that he could never close it all the way. This caused him to drool constantly.

The truth is that to have one normal white tiger to exhibit in a zoo you end up with 60 kenny or tiger that die as a baby. Any reason? Yes, they ALL come from the same father and have been inbred for decades.

He looks that way due to the inbreeding that is necessary to create white tigers. The gene is double recessive and only one line possesses it, making inbreeding necessary. Poor guy... he´s a lucky one, though, because the majority that are born looking like that are killed... it´s just awful.

You cant find white tigers in the wild cus they simple wouldnt survive...If One happen to be born.
I feel sorry for the tigers....& even for peoples lack of knowlegde on the animals....

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Kenny for over ten years.
I work at the refuge were he was taken after being rescued from deplorable conditions by the breeder who was responsible for his birth.
He was a wonderful animal - very friendly, sweet, quick to 'chuff' in a happy greeting; and he absolutely loved attention from people.
His death (as with the death of any of our animals) saddens all of us and he is still dearly missed by staff as well as visitors to the refuge.
