Desann is my favorite Star Wars villain. Hands down. Jedi Outcast is also my favorite Star Wars game just because the story was perfect.

You can the lightsaber stance to strong which is red on the upper half circle of the force icon to do in Desann with two or three swipes.

You can also use the saber throw to take down the rocky pillars while Desann is next to them, instant takedown

I just did that yesterday. Played the game straight for two days. I knocked the pillar on him in like 3 minutes. In a way I was bummed because I didn't really fight him. I played this back in 2002 and loved it. I just loaded it into my new PC and it was a ton of fun to return as Kyle. Great game. How did you record it, may I ask?

NICE. I never did get to use those pillars on him. What difficulty level was that?

Some people say "Just use force speed", but on higher difficulty levels, your opponents will also use Speed to cancel out the effect.

i had about 4 of those floating seeker balls with me when I fought him, so I unleashed them all on him and they fired lasers at him and kept him busy while I just beat him up with my light saber. worked like a charm. =)

I think it's still best star wars game. You can feel lightsaber here. Now they make games with glowing sticks... it sucks. No fluent moves. It should be like in jedi outcast or knights of the old republic.

The easiest way to kill Desann is to crumble the pillars with Force Lightning so they fall on his head and kill him.

The blue is a very weak and fast strike. I prefer to use it on simple stormtroopers. The yellow is a balance between fast and hard strikes. It's the prefered stance throughout the game though, with normal Units that doesn't have especially strong armor.

The Red one is the Strongest and Slowest stance. You hit freaking hard, and you damage alot. prefered on Bosses, such as Shadow Troopers and those weak Dark Jedi's. Cant remember name.

So it really impacts on the game, what stance you use.

When I played JO, I killed Desann a few times with a single, carefully-timed strike using the heavy lightsaber style. At the beginning of the fight, I just jump down on Desann with that slow vertical strike (up+click), instantly killing him... Didn't always work, but it beats getting frustrated over failed attempts.... or using cheats... Cheers!

What makes him a boss isn't power, but its how big his saber is. You have to be really careful with saber locks on desann, if his saber gets too close to your head, your finished!

It's absolutely 100% impossible to hit Desann with normal weapons. He will ALWAYS deflect.

the Pillars are the way your supposed to kill him, or at least it's the way I've always done it. Fighting him is a pain in the ass. I'm surprised in this fight he didn't do his lil choke lightning combo.

He's soo easy to kill.. He tends to drop his saber often, and get it stuck somewhere, and u can go and slice him. Its also easily possible when he has the lightsaber.

When he Grips: Push/Pull

When he push: Spam Jump

When he does lightning: Push (its sometimes a succesfull push)

When he hits you: .. Well just dont make him hit you!

well see all that's easy enough to do. But you do only have so much health/shields. and then you have to rely on the force to heal you. And when your using the portion of your health on healing, All he has to do is get one lucky grip lightning saber throw and your done.

No he means Darth Kreia. It's in another star wars game. Star wars Knighs of the old republic II: The Sith lords. It's an old woman who is the mentor of the jedi you play. She's also the last boss. She turns to a sith. Darth Nihilus is actually the first boss that you can actually kill. He's seriously awesome, but he'll die by spamming lightning >.>
