  • I haven't read all the comments yet, but is there any way you could change the spelling of JONN's name here? His unique spelling of his name is just one of the many things about him that makes him fascinating.

  • Okay, so I like Heavy Metal, Nu-Metal, and... well, basically anything loud. But I have to say, ambient music is my favorite kind of music :)

  • This is really nice. I've recently started making my own music inspired by a lot of the slow, contemplative music like this, and I use the Hubble images, too. It's amazing how much beauty there is in our universe.

  • This is one of my most favorite composers. I have this CD love JOHN SERRIE.

  • beautiful

  • What an amazing place this music has taken me. Perfect!

  • John's music, to me, is in between the subtleness of Brian Eno's and the intensity of Steve Roach's music. Thanks for upping this.

  • definatly a soundscape feel

  • WOW :)

  • Absolutely wonderful! I return time and again to And the Stars Go With You. It's a trip listening to it on a plane (no pun intended). Jonn Serrie is an American treasure. Would so much love to see him live in concert. Thanks for posting this with the excellent vid from Hubble.

  • They say truth is stranger than fiction. What is also in that league is that the art on a canvas or on a computer is nothing in comparison to the beauty of the universe.

    Or something like that.

  • Dream-like sounds... John Serrie is one of my all-time favorite artists in space music&ambient genre....

  • Superb video to accompany the music, well done, thanks, danke!

  • Beautiful images. This Jonn's work is one of my favorites, I take with me everywhere, in fact this summer (southern hemisphere) to hear it in the south of Chile, where civilization has not yet reached (electricity among other things) and really was absorbed the starry celestial darkness, was something truly divine and magical being transported by the sounds of mind Serrie, thanks for your images so beautiful.

  • Thank you John Serrie

  • love this track that much makes one see space in a very different way so for some reason makes me think heaven in out there in space.

  • Chills down my spine.

    Lump in my throat.

My greatest desire is to see mankind travel to other galaxies

To see other solar systems with our own eyes

And witness the beauties of existence first hand.

I want it more than anything, and I will probably never live to see it.

  • @12809inthetubes Your burning desire may outlive the you that you think you are; then eyes are not needed...

  • @zzinglish53 So true. Well said. So true.

  • Fantastic to see John Serrie on the 'Tube, much under heard in the UK, I only have one CD of his and treasure it. Thanks To gossamerhall, more please!

  • I'm tripping out MAN!! I think I just made the next level of enlightenment!

  • Another "spacy" composer is Isao Tomita...he redid Gustav Holst's

"The Planets", among others...not as pure planetarium-esk as Serrie

  • Love Jon Serrie's music. Lovely video and channel.

  • nice

  • I do like the contrasting sections. It really works.

  • beautiful. Absolutly beautiful. Supprisingly it reminds me of getting lost in Wormhole space on EVE Online.

  • Reminds me of 2001 A Space Odyssee when Bowman goes through the monolith. Thank you for posting.

  • wonderfull

  • So, so beautiful...

  • Do you all know this feeling what comes to you when you are looking into the sky at night? *Want a telescope!* :D

  • @gossamerhall this stuff has got to be in HD, nice vid tho.

  • Wonderful music as always, John! Enjoyed the video as well!

  • Isn't John Serrie a fantastic composer. One of the best from the group of composers that emerged and started New Age music movement. He is my inspiration as a musician and composer along with people like Vangelis, Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Jean Michael Jarre, Tangerine Dreame etc....

Electronic music composer and pianist ObeeLektro. Cheers

  • definitely add Patrick O'Hearn to that list... so much amazing talent out there.

and to gossamerhall, thank you for posting this video, this is very effectively focusing me

  • Such lovely music, thanks for sharing

  • THE BEST

  • Yeah this music fits for sci fi movies

  • divine, it just lets you infinite imagination run wild trough the wildernes of infinity , could there be anything more pleasant for your mind?

  • Yes, actually.

The music is truly divine. I agree.

But . . . There are some actions and things I like to couple with John Serrie's and Kevin Braheny's music for my customers . . .

Touch and Smell ... Touch in the form of massage and aromatherapy - - - - Takes them to another dimension . . .

  • truly and interesting idea, no doubt very efficient . i rather meditate uppon it, at a moment i felt like i ain't even sitting on the chair as if i started to float! it makes time expand to a mear infinity , and it makes my body expand to the boundaries of space

  • John Serrie should do sountracks for films

  • With you, I completely agree. He has great works.

  • Y Las estrellas me acompañan - La escuche en mi walkman alla por 1988 en un lugar de la sierra de Lima - Peru

y me hizo aliviar mis dolores y mis penas

Gracias x subir esta maravillosa musica

¿Que sera de Peter Schneider y su " Viaje Astral"

  • Dude, I understood nearly 70% of what you said... I do not know why I stay myself from making the leap to becoming fluent in Spanish.

  • Excellent ambient sci-fi music.

  • Dreamy... This music lifts the senses to a higher plane.

  • Well put Bunyip . . .

    music! Fantastic!

  • Thanks. Those are some mind blowing images, and Jon Serrie's music goes really well with them.

  • Are all of those actual photographs? They really look like they are, but I just want to be sure. Are they from Hubble?

  • I played this song in the background while I played the game Sins of a Solar Empire. Try it! its awesome!

  • Excellent video!

  • interesting how these kind of look like mystical creatures that some people dont belive in fays unicorn and stuff

  • Beautiful

  • One of my all time favorite pieces from John Serrie.

  • I took this song to a star party 2 weeks ago a few miles away from McDonald Observatory. Spectacular skies with great space music!

  • @jshhmr Did you know that in his earlier years Jonn composed music for the Atlanta Planetarium's space shows?
