I just became an American after 10 years of INS redtape. At the citizenship ceremony, a man near me didn't even stand during the ceremony - instead he cleaned his nails while most people took the pledge. This is how bad the English requirement is: when I was given the English test, which consisted of writing a sentence "He was looking for a job." and reading a similar sentence, I could barely understand the lady testing me, since her English was so poor.

the English that was spoken in America ( named by the Spanish) is differentt then that of today....many words are spanish today like chocolate, rodeo, corral, lasso, chili, soda, vanilla, etc

Enforce existing laws???? Can you imagine saying that in the 50's? Women and Blacks cant vote..you can sell cigarettes to minors, and driving over 50 miles an hour wont be tolerated....wake up ding dong laws become obsolete like your suit...
