  • Imagine if he didnt hav nearly 4 years off with injury he'd hav so many international points no one would ever beat him

  • awesome save !!!!!!! end of !

  • In his book he describes this tackle as merely 'decent'

    Jonny Wilkinson through and through

  • lol they really would have liked that tackle at the world cup

  • carter is good, but nothing on wilkinson

  • Jonny Wilkinson, the manliest of men, he is made of the two manliest products to grace the earth, condoms and razors.

  • @FutureLAD66 Hey, Lee Mack, how are you?

  • that moment when you notice the score and know that the try wouldnt change the final outcome and he practically almost injured himself for nothing

  • wilko doesn't give a shit. like the honey badger.

  • @wo0dy1 who the hell ever said he cant defend. He is probably the best defensive 10 the world has ever seen, his technique in all areas of the game are second to none and he plays with the heart and passion that wins world cups and inspires generations.

  • Four italians don't like this

  • i was here and was cheering like a divvy as he is such a dude!! now he's gone flood would never do that

  • this is just it with jonny, he puts his body on the line, people say hes a 1 trick poney or a bad 10 because he cant defend, but if you look at his life in rugby he is a very good player. the media hyped him up in 03 and made him this image to non rugby types and they messed everything up by sticking their view on something they know next to nothign about.. sure hes getting on a bit, and with his injuries isnt always an amazing 1st choice but still deffo worth a thought.

  • @wo0dy1 Anyone that says Jonny can't defend knows nothing about rugby.

  • Being hit by Wilkinson and Banahan at the same time... I'm surprised the Italian fella even got up again after that!

  • Bannahan woulda mashed him up if johnny didn't...

  • @rugbyrobnumber5 nope. Banahan would've missed the tackle and slid head first into the sponsors pitch side boards.

  • @rugbyrobnumber5 banahan would not of got him, hes a big slow lump who belongs in england saxons team

  • If only England had 15 Jonny's (no I don't mean condoms)

  • banahan had him

  • now thats what i call motivation what a tackle

  • brilliant tackle but has nothing on Chris Paterson's tackle on Ben Foden.

  • @cazzersk8 link?

  • What an overrated tackle. Winger has no room to move and Wilko is flying in, he should make that tackle everytime.

  • @ElSpewtardo looool ok mate, well when you make a tackle like that feel free to comment on it, until then...pipe down

  • @Oroutey Yeah because you need to play international rugby to comment on that mediocre tackle

  • @ElSpewtardo loooool you clearly either dont play the game at all, or play it at a very low level and your the kid on the team who cant tackle hahaha

  • @ElSpewtardo you'd expect him to make the tackle, yes, but it's quite something to put him straight into touch from there.

  • @ElSpewtardo yet if wilko had missed him? coming in at that speed you need to be damn sure your gonna hit, otherwise you look like a fool. that is typical jonny, never give, no matter what

  • @ElSpewtardo when winning by a cricket score? So many players would be soft in such circumstance.

  • when was this ?

  • If you had 17st of Banahan bounce off your chest, i think you'd be taking a few seconds to get your breath back too.

  • @JonnyHwd it was easter

  • @tebowisgay It was banahan, Why would Easter be out on the wing, instead of defending the pick and go? Granted they look similar but it's definitely Banahan.

  • @tebowisgay Yep looked it up. Easter started at 8. Banahan came on for Cueto. Number on the back is... 22. I think. It's defo not 8.

  • that is one of my all time favourite tackles. he knocks the attacker (who is probably 14 or 15 stone) about 4 metres off his course!

  • guys ill admit jonny is a good player but is slightly over-rated, he is ageing and he is very easily injured, he was a better player in his youth and with younger players coming in from all teams he will be knocked out of the squad soon enough. dont bother hating or being biast because you know im right in a way.

  • I have seen him at 3 world cups and that is only how I know him as i am an aussi you can tell he's getting weaker as he hets older

  • Thats why he is injured so often. That is why he is a match winner. That is why he is a world class fly half. That is why he is Wilko.

His body is just a tool to win games.

  • @jackass40mile And he will still find something he could be doing better, and keep pushing himself.

  • @jackass40mile it was 59 .13

  • the only First 5, that makes big hits and putting his body on the line. legend :)

  • I watched this from the stands...he appeared out of nowhere like a guided missile to save the try...the commitment was stunning, even more so given the state of the score board!

  • good to see so much effort that late in a game while that far ahead

  • TOP CLASS!

  • Pause at 0:11 and see where Wilko started from to make that tackle... Amazing.

  • One word.......LAD!

  • wilkinson is so much better at tackling than carter

  • Jonny has still got it..........Flood will never be the half of a flyhalf that Jonny has become and done so well.

  • How old is jonny now?

  • @joelhug like 32!!!! but he looks older!!!!!

  • Johnny might not be the biggest player, but he has the heart of a lion!

  • move bitch get out the way!

  • what a hero

  • if Jonny Wilkinson didnt get him the man moutain of matt banahan would have broken that bloke lolol

  • SIT THE FUCK DOWN!!!

  • masi is a tough guy Johnny :)

  • Timing, strength, commitment and a disregard for personal safety. Classic Jonny.

  • look where he starts. Manages to make up all the ground to make that tackle. Great stuff

  • The game was won, yet Jonny put EVERYTHING into that try-saving tackle. Watch and weep, lesser persons!

  • Hes a different class, hes just pure class, What a player!

  • 1 minute left, 59-13 points up and he still injures himself for the tackle. thats jonny for you

  • I LOVE JONNY SO MUCH, MARRY ME XXXXXXXXX

  • If only those useless yobbish english footballers who are only in it for the money were like this, he puts every last bit into playing for his country! such a proud man. shame soo many don't follow in his footsteps. Never loses his tackling ability!

  • Outstanding tackle from one of the best players the game has ever seen!!

  • Different Class!

  • if I were gay I'd definitely go for Jonny xxxx lol jk

  • @G00n3r4Life he use to be Jonny Fucking Wilkinson when he was good, lets be fair, he's only Jonny Wilkinson at the moment lol

  • @chandlereen Haha :)

  • @chandlereen yeah jk your clearly a Mark Cueto man

  • @beenwilson I dont see how

  • @chandlereen take away the jk and ur already gay, fagg

  • Thumbs up if u think Superjuniorbox15 is a dumbass!

  • @LubricStankey agreed!

  • @Superjuniorbox15 u know hes probably been playing for a while even though hes a sub, and the professional game is probably a lot more tiring no matter how well conditioned you are

  • @Superjuniorbox15 He knocked a large man 5 feet into touch! That takes some strength and power

  • Comment removed

  • gret tackle great contact haha kaboom i mean he got hurtnbut nice!

  • u wouldnt see toby flood do that!!!

  • @FaTmaN9009 u wouldnt see 99 % of fly halfa do that

  • Great italian attack - greater Wilkison's tackle.

  • Great tackle by great man!!!!!

I think he got hurt by Easter :D

  • @nigggala It wasnt easter it was banahan who landed on his stomach thats what hurt lol easter is number 8 not 22

  • @nigggala you're right, Easter falls onto Wilkinson's stomach winding him.
