Are you guys going to be making a Carbon version of this? I have the Apex 37 Carbon, but I'm a little shorter so that board, for me, is more for slides and carving. And I love Original, so I want a good freestyle board from you guys. (I have the Malakai, Hybrid, and Apex Carbon)

@DylanSmith1997 We are but that is on the table for late this year. We will also have a drastically upgraded standard fiberglass (no Carbon) version of the Apex 34 coming out in the near future. You could certainly get the job done on that as opposed to waiting for the Carbon.

@JewYen Unfortunately for us (and subsequently you guys) when dealing with the Apex 34, like a lot of things in life, complications can occur.

That said, we are in production right now, as we speak, cranking out Apex 34s every day.

They have a proprietary fiberglass weave that brings them in both lighter, and stronger, than last years decks along with a new graphic and the additional mounting brackets that we added to the Apex 37 this year.

We are very close to release, fingers crossed.

@TheSlow78 The Apex 34 isn't a bad choice at all- go for S8s with some harder wheels (83 or 86a) Harder wheels make sliding easier. You can always go for the Apex 37 as well- I'd go for a flyweight for your weight though.

Anyone know why my board may be self loosening? I love your s8 trucks and i really don't want to have to buy a nother set because this set only has lasted me 1 year and Ive replaced the baseplate, the springs the wavecames twice and I just want my board to ride but a lot of the time im spending with my board is repairing and i don't want it to go that way, i have an apex 34, s8s black springs.

@mixermake You can stack two locknuts on the end of the kingpin. This will "lock" the tension setting in place and you shouldn't have to adjust them while riding.

I have a few questions about the trucks on my board, I have an apex 34 with s8 trucks and red springs, I have noticed that my springs make it so that it does not bounce back to center so much anymore and while im longboarding sometimes the nut starts to loosen, What could cause this? Also the metal thing on the end of the wavecam is making a dent in the baseplate so I have to replace it every so often, I was just wondering if there was a way to stop this from happening, thanks!

As I am in Santa Cruz, my best bets are Santa Cruz, Sector 9, or Gravity, but I was interested in buying a board right off your site, but the two I was interested in, the Apex 34 and the Custom 44- an absolutely beautiful deck, btw, are listed as out of stock. Is this a temporary issue or are these boards discontinued? Although Im a west coaster Id love to support your great company.
