It's using our custom rendering engine. But you could call the Draw() method after your normal spritebatches if you want, and it will render on top.
But chances are that will find a lot of stuff usefull in the framework anyway, so maybe you will switch all your rendering to use IceCream.
You still developing this stuff? I'm working on something similar and i'm deep into dev, i'd love to compare works
this framework looks like it was getting on great.
