This show is like Red vs. Blue (not literally). It began as a show making fun of popular culture and events, then turned into a more plot driven awesome, spectacular storyline. i had no fucking idea it took this much to make a single episode. I'm an impatient kid so waiting for an episode sucks but when a new one does come out it's well worth the wait! i personally don't have a favorite t.v. show, but i do have a favorite series...can you guess what it is? fuckin arby n the chief! best episode in my opinion is "The Wedding." Jon, I'd say you shouldn't be so hard on yourself, but I think you being so hard on yourself so much is what makes the show good. You have really high standards for your final product and, while you may feel like shit while doing it, or even after finishing, it's worth while for every single one of us who watches is. Excellent work, your pessimism on some things about the show, your perfectionism, and you being so hard on yourself shows me a great amount of selflessness. I love the show, really.
There's a lot of Jon in the Arbiter as far as that cycle of being a downer is concerned. I dunno why Jon is so down on his work, NOTHING ever looks good when in production... and yeah even the end product isn't all that what you wanted it to be I can imagine, but what Jon has going is a rare beautiful series of episodes that, speaking for myself, I've been hooked on like crack for the past few days since watching this series. Keep up the great work, stop downing yourself as well :-)
You're videos are amazing man. I love your series when it came out years ago. I can almost relate to how much of a pain it is to put every aspec of your creation together. I only do a few things on Youtube, but all the things you do plus your personal life, that has to be hectic man. However, the only thing that should matter to you is that you are content with what you do and what you have accomplished. I still enjoy the show and looking forward to your future projects for Machinima.
Jon, you do this machinima single-handedly, the entire process of editing, writing, and filming, etc, and still upload quality work that rivals Roosterteeth's, who have an entire company at their disposal. Six seasons of quality work is more then most so-called "legit" TV shows ever accomplish, so know that we always look forward to Arby 'n' the Chief.

Yep... Jon is too hard on himself. I have been watching since the beginning and to be honest, I am not even really a Halo fan. But I have always found these Arby N The Chief videos to be extremely entertaining. But I can see why you (Jon) would find so many issues in your videos. That is a good thing, almost any creator that isn't an ego maniac will see flaws in their work. But I have not noticed any flaws myself. All I see is a entertaining series that I always look forward too.

Wow, I never realised how much work you put into making these. Although I still get pissed off when I see that there's no new story episode, I can now see why. Have you tried using Bungie Pro to get HD game footage? As for the storage, surely Machinima pay you enough to buy a hard drive or will buy you one if it means HD. Since Halo only actually works at 1366x768, I'd only reccomend 720p HD.

There's a lot of Jon in the Arbiter as far as that cycle of being a downer is concerned. I dunno why Jon is so down on his work, NOTHING ever looks good when in production... and yeah even the end product isn't all that what you wanted it to be I can imagine, but what Jon has going is a rare beautiful series of episodes that, speaking for myself, I've been hooked on like crack for the past few days since watching this series. Keep up the great work, stop downing yourself as well :-)

You're videos are amazing man. I love your series when it came out years ago. I can almost relate to how much of a pain it is to put every aspec of your creation together. I only do a few things on Youtube, but all the things you do plus your personal life, that has to be hectic man. However, the only thing that should matter to you is that you are content with what you do and what you have accomplished. I still enjoy the show and looking forward to your future projects for Machinima.

Jon, you do this machinima single-handedly, the entire process of editing, writing, and filming, etc, and still upload quality work that rivals Roosterteeth's, who have an entire company at their disposal. Arby 'n' the Chief is hilarious and extremely entertaining. (Ok, maybe the swearing is a little over the top, but that's part of the charm!) Six seasons of quality work is more then most so-called "legit" TV shows ever accomplish, so know that we always look forward to Arby 'n' the Chief.

Ok jon, from one artist to another, get over it friend. You are your own worst critic and that will never change. Think about this: the fact your that hard on yourself shows you know what your doing. No artist who is worth a damn looks at their own creations and goes "this is awesome man! nothing is wrong" and it turns out to be a stick figure. You do what you do well, just relax a bit on the stress that comes with it and it will not deplete that much energy. Believe me, you are doing well.

Yep... Jon is too hard on himself. I have been watching since the beginning and to be honest, I am not even really a Halo fan. But I have always found these Arby N The Chief videos to be extremely entertaining. But I can see why you (Jon) would find so many issues in your videos. That is a good thing, almost any creator that isn't an ego maniac will see flaws in their work. But I have not noticed any flaws myself. All I see is a entertaining series that I always look forward too.

This has been my favorite internet series since high school, mainly because I use to be a video game addict who experienced many of these scenerios (haha used to be? lol). I am so glad this series is still going strong, the intelligent/idiot struggle between arby and MC is the epitome of every gamer out there. Wanting to have fun most of the time but still a little profane. I am leaving for basic in a week so if I can't watch the whole series for any reason, just know Arby n the chief BRAVO <3

Wow, I never realised how much work you put into making these. Although I still get pissed off when I see that there's no new story episode, I can now see why. Have you tried using Bungie Pro to get HD game footage? As for the storage, surely Machinima pay you enough to buy a hard drive or will buy you one if it means HD. Since Halo only actually works at 1366x768, I'd only reccomend 720p HD.
